Still Wondering...How..???

Watched bits and pieces of yesterday's episode of TMKOC...itna fast forward kar ke dekha ke bus 2 mins mein saara episode khatam ho gaya...

very true...even a 10 year old kid can differentiate between real n duplicate srk...

I mean how can this be a comic scene...😆, siway Gokuldham walon ke..kis ko hasi aayegi aaise scene per...😆

I cannot understand people's obsession with filmstars... The characters on the show are behaving worse than tantrum throwing spoilt brats... Mrs. Anjali Mehta was speaking as though she never shops for new clothes for hubby dearest and herself on festivals... It's as if everybody's festive fervour is hinged solely on the arrival of srk and the festival of lights won't otherwise bring even a hint of happiness to their overrated lives or rather the lack of it... And jethalal's overenthusiastic and oversmart behaviour everytime he sees babita is getting to my nerves now.. It's no longer a laughable matter and though i can understand iyer's frustration in such situations, his crabby behaviour is still difficult to put up with... About Daya, well, the less i say, the better...These days, i literally mute the section when she speaks or just cut to the portion when she's finished preaching... The only family that makes me laugh, or atleast brings a smile to my lips, is the Bhide family... I'm bored out of my wits by the repetitive show put up by the other families and most of all, the Tapu sena... And how can i forget Mr. Tarak Mehta's legendary oratory skills ? What scares me is that now that our beloved prime minister modi has unintentionally promoted the show on a national platform by nominating the cast and crew of the show for the swach bharat abhiyan, this must have given a massive boost to the already much inflated ego of the not-so-beloved producer of the show, Mr. Asit Modi.. So in short, the show won't end anytime soon.. Sorry for the harsh words that i've used in this post, but this track has got me really worked up and i just needed an opportunity to give a vent to my bottled up angst... My annoyance is ofcourse confined only to the characters on the show and the trajectory the show's been on for quite sometime now... This was a show i used to really like and had come close to loving it but i'm glad it never got that far and now even my liking for the show has come totally undone... It's not even a proper tv soap anymore in the literal sense of the term... Tmkoc has reduced itself to a pseudo show that just serves as a platform for promoting bollywood films... Infact, tmkoc can proudly count itself among the several equally nonsensical hindi films which lack logic and aren't made to serve any real purpose other than making it to the 100 crore rupees club...

I read an article by Mr.Pritish Nandy in the newspaper today that resonates well with what I've written above---- "One of the funny things about life is: What we enjoy the most is not always what we respect. Popularity is not the same as admiration. They can't be measured on the same scale. "
