Bebo’s Crore Deal!!

Kareena Kapoor, the sizzling hot beauty of bollywood, has signed a Rs 6 crore deal with Shree Ashtavinayak Cine Vision for three movies. The first of her three films will be a sequel to Rohit Shetty's Golmaal and is expected to go on the floors in the month of November this year. This film ' Golmal Returns' will star Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade in leading roles along with Kareena Kapoor. The industry sources say that with this deal, Bebo has climbed the ladder and equaled the remuneration of Aishwarya Rai at Rs 2 crore per film, which is the highest amount paid to any actress in Bollywood.

As an insider puts the whole thing in perspective, ' I do not know what the exact amount is, but if its true then she is getting as much as Aishwarya Rai (Rs 2 crore per film). Ash is the highest paid actress in the industry and is rumoured to have been paid Rs 2 crore for Jodha- Akbar. If Kareena has been signed for that amount, she will be one of the most expensive actresses in the industry.'

Currently, Kareena Kapoor is busy shooting for Imtiaz Ali's untitled film with Shahid Kapoor. But besides Imtiaz Ali's film, her no other film is on the floor and she has also not signed any new film for the last one year. She was pinning her hopes on Mani Rathnam's Lajjo, where she had been paired with Aamir Khan, but the film got shelved due to some reason. Now, this three film deal, which is up to 2009, will give a new lease of life to her career.
