Hello!😊
I see this forum is quite popular. Good to see the show and forum popular. I understand the show has quite a following online. Good.

The show has inspired everything from analysis to spoof to fan art.

I see it's spread far and wide.

So much so that people are coming here just to copy and steal stuff posted by members!

You Facebook and Twitter page admins are so greedy for likes and RTs that you started lifting work and posting it under your own name?

It is not sharing dear. It is plagiarism when you totally copy stuff created by others and post without giving credit!

WUs, analysis, spoofs, memes, art/creations etc. You spared nothing.

Do you know how much time it takes to come up with something? Every piece of writing, art and even a meme takes time, effort and ingenuity. Others' work should be respected, no?

Should we start making Members Only posts? But why? You will register and steal by logging in too!

Should we start adding tags and watermarks to everything? But no! Some of you are such chronic copycats that you even edit or blur watermarks to post images as your own! 🐷

Such is your desperation to get a few more likes on your so called pages!🤢

Don't think we don't know about you! We can post links of each page and profile. We can come to your pages and tell your audience/followers what stolen stuff you've been sharing. But no. We don't because we neither have that much time nor do we want to call out on you individually. But you better not take our silence as blissful ignorance. We know who you are and where you are.

We also see many write ups and creations on other pages and like them. But we don't start pasting them here under our own name! We at least tell, even while posting, that we found it on other forum or Twitter or FB. We don't shamelessly add our own name to bylines of albums and write ups that are originally created by others!

Some of our stuff got shared by even EHT team such as Vatsal Sheth on his Facebook. That is heartening to know that even an actor visited the forum. It's that popular and our stuff made for a lark is liked. Hence an open forum is good. The celeb sharer/visitor was credible enough to post link of thread. Unlike "fans" who simply hit copy button and keep lifting stuff without giving source.

Nothing stops you. You copy everything be it celebration threads or criticism threads or fun threads or gallery threads. The posts that take time to compose, the images that takes hours to find and edit...you lift in one second.

Is this sharing? Nope. It is outright stealing when not giving your source and posting others' works under your name.

If you love the forum then interact with us here! Why just lurk to steal?

If you love the show then why don't you exercise your own brain (if you have any) to come up with your own creative writing and imagery on it? Strive for those likes on basis of your own creations! Than make a chor bazaar in name of fan pages!

We won't stop posting for fear or frustration of being plagiarised. But you better hold your horses and resist shameless copying.

I know this post is futile in more ways than not because you copycats are not going to stop. But this is just to inform you that we KNOW who you are and what you have been upto.

It's not a competition nor is anyone gaining materially from posting stuff. So what's the desperation to copy stuff? Is it that hard to respect others' efforts?

Anyway congratulations to members here. 😊 We are seemingly doing something good that people want to copy our posts as it is!🥳

No seriously I congratulate all posting members here for churning out good stuff. Kudos for time and effort originally spent. 👍🏼

And to plagiarist lurkers I can only say - COPY KARNE WALE TERA _________ (smart enough to fill the blanks)😉

@Anu this is happening really. I mean stuff here is stolen and put somewhere under other's name. Very sad to know to be frank. I know creatives do check forums and take ideas and feedbacks. But people blindly taking it. Very very sad to know.

There are FB and Twitter pages copying our stuff and posting under their own name. They even edit creations and add their own watermark. Or shamelessly add own watermark to already watermarked images!

Heck! I even saw some copying our discussions we have here!😡

They are so brainless or lazy that they can't even write their own opinion?😲

TM good you opened this topic.
This is absolutely true and is happening everywhere.

and i totally support your point of view and really appreciate all the efforts you take to create all those wonderful posts and memes and threads.

One advice: along with members-only you can also use "NOCOPY" option.
This is not the exact tag to be uses and i don't know the precise tag. But there's certainly one!

Here's a sample:

http://www.india-forums.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=4207195

See you cannot copy text here. May be you can PM someone who does WU's and ask them the exact option to be used.

That should be a slap on the face of those who copy. There's no pointing in trying to straighten a dog's tail. Just banish the dog itself!😆

I am so tempted to post screenshots of these pages and handles of these users! But somehow resist. They even copy lines from general opinion posts and comments here! And post as own! Even general lines? Hadh hai!🤢
Yes this post they are most welcome to copy and share. If they have guts then copy this one!

So that's why I'm saying use nocopy or such option. Written Update writers use it in their posts. They will know. Why don't u pm one of the DT's and ask abt it?
But then you can still use snipping tool etc. to snip the entire post itself and paste it as an image.😆

But you can at least avoid direct copy pasting of general lines with this.

I will try that Rishi and I advise and request others to use same codes.
But then the code doesn't work beyond first page. What about other pages?

I also saw a user who types out lines herself if she wants to copy. So relentless!
