Why do bad films make so much money?

😉😆 It seems like the Bollywood industry has gone to the dogs for many years. Bad films are making a lot of money, the latest example is HNY. A mediocre director like Farah can get away with it. But King Khan is loved by his fans so they will lap it up. And Aamir Khan made a medicore Dhoom 3 a blockbuster, but again his fans (including yours truly 😳) went and saw the movie because we love him. Why do bad films make so much money? Are the fans to blame or the actors? 😲

people like watching films with well-known actors and marketing of the film also helps. Even bad films can do well if they're marketed right

What is bad for you might not be bad for others. People have different liking.

I disliked dhoom 3 but i know many other people loved it. There is exact no definition of good and bad movies. its depends on your taste. Some people like art off beat movies, some people like masala movies and some people like romantic movies.

A commercial movie is not always bad. examples: Dabbang, ETT, MHN, Ghajini ect.

Farah khan is not horrible director. Mhn was mind blowing and om shanti om was a decent watch. i loved happy new year promos and i think i will like the movie

The ingredients to that is a Superstar with crazy fans who are ready to watch any trash by their hero, a hot girl with skin show and over promotions...It's sad but that's the direction indian cinema is going.
