Since a country exists mainly cause of people, people should have the right on how to run it...

so if the leader of the country decides to goto war with another country, do you think people should have the right to decided for/against it?

People voting if country should goto to war or not?

[Or be allowed to stop a useless war?]

Umm usually if a leader of the country goes on the war wid sum other country, the public doesnt has any say in it bec it usually thinks dat its for the gud of the country. For example if today America attacks India.. WIll the Indian first vote for 10 days to choose whether they shud bomb back america or not? 😆 Its not exactly practical. And usually its not the asian countries who attack first. And if sum1 attacks us, v cant well decide not to attack dem.. 😉

In a democracy, People always have a say

take for example America and Iraq, many people pretend now as if they had nothing to do with the war.

During his first term, Congress and Senate gave him a full authority to persecute any war that he thought was fit to eradicate terrorism

who elected the congress and Senate? The citizens of America

Now at the time of the war, both the parties were in favor of going to war

When say you voted for a contestant, if he/she was always going to toe the party line on this issue and vote for anything his/her party decided, then it was your fault in voting for that person, now you cant say We didnt vote for the war.

So yes People have a say in the war

well if people vote and choose a govt why cant they vote and choose to withdraw from a war ????

strange ..... people certainly have a say on war ...
as for us we are fortunate enough to stay in countries where our govt goes and fights and takes over other lands ..so we feel we cant have a "say on war" (v r cowards ) but if we were in these lands where super powers shell death then "say on war" is as easy as fight on roads. we would have to fight for lives and then it would strike us that hey we have a say on war.... 😭 😭 sad

In a democratic country people elect government and representatives. We assign them the power to make decisions for the country. It is practically impossible to take public voting before any major decision government has to make and what is the need anyways? They are our chosen representatives and they have the right to decide what is best for their country.

Should the people e allowed to stop the war? [forgot this...editing post now😳] People elected leaders democratically so let the leaders make decisions but people surely have right and should ask other people who wage war on innocent people through illegal means bombing them and name it as war on freedom with stodgy excuses. People should surely voice their voice against such people and help government and not side with such fanatics.
