I have thoroughly enjoyed every moment I have spent in this forum, the discussions have been lively and interesting. it is a habit that I will struggle to break.

Our serial is infected by a virus. Everyone knows how a virus works, it infects a cell, takes over it's DNA machinery and then uses it to destroy other cells.

Because of some hidden reasons that we cannot identify, the same is happening here. If someone hated the story of Jodha Akbar, and got control of the serial, how would they go about destroying it.

Stage 1- Destroy Akbar. That stage is well underway, from unwarranted blame at Jodha,to Chittor to spineless attitude with Ruqs. And all this after having been made Akbar from Jalal the tyrant, a mockery of the soul talks.

Stage 2- Destroy the image of Jodha as a strong, resourceful woman even if it gets great ratings like in the Abu Mali-Mirch war track. Show Jodha as weak and subservient, remove all the fire and spirit from her personality

Stage 3- Destroy everything epic about the romance. Show such crass scenes that viewers will wonder if there ever was any romance.

Only then you can hope that some of the magic of the movie Jodha Akbar has been undone. Also hope that these last scenes of the serial override the romantic images of the beginning of the serial.

For anyone who appreciates the legend of Jodha Akbar, and anyone who respects these historical characters, the time to quit is right now. From now on everything shown will be blot to their memory. I like Rajat and Paridhi a lot, they have done justice to their roles, but they have obligations. They have to carry on. We have the freedom to choose.

I myself am waiting for the MUZ scene, that is the last of it.

Lovely post donjas...I too wont be able to continue for long...never thought that a day would come in my life when i will say this abt my beloved JA...but I am fed up ...and I am quitting for the same reasons you gave in the post...

Same here ..Nothing is left to watch in this story ...i m only waiting to see Jo as MUZ ...thats it...will miss JA & forum a lot 😒

Even I'm waiting for jo as MUZ episode and that wil b last episode for me... I want parijat to quit can't see them playing forty year old roles... If they quit let ekta n her so called JA go to hell...

Mee to waiting to see SA track start to quit the show.. I think this month end or even november 1st week SA track will start.. There is no love story, there is no strong Jalaal, not even a lover & a husband, they made JO is sanskari lady, no strong & furious JO .. CVS butched JJ characters & their love story...

I knew EK will do this time also, I used to watch Kyunki for the sake of Karan & Nandini, they butched their characters & their love and I left the show later BIG LEAP happened, later KIS DESH mein.. i so loved the prem & heer and also prem mom, they butched her character making her villan & later prem character.. I just stopped it.. Now again JA they butched JJ characters and bringing SA and glorifying Ruku...Couldn't digest more it's better to stop watching the show, rather than increase my BP & my mood off...

But i love this forum & especially enjoying the FF... Thanks EK you did it again never going to watching your DUMP serials which are only good for 1 year later nothing LEAP LEAP only..

For me , will not be satisfied by just seeing Jodha as MUZ. Wanted her to play a supportive role in admin earning Akbar's admiration and more love - Her other titles such as wali niyamt being given to her - Akbar acknowledging her stellar contribution to his life in private in a tender moment 😊 ; Akbar and she celebrating Karva chauth and sharing of dreams for Salim - There are so many scenes that need to be shown before DILWALA Salim grows and spots Anarkali, if only CVs desire- Remember how they dragged Atifa and Khyber tracks - All fictional characters have been shown that has been instrumental in creating Ishq between Jalal and Jodha; Real reasons of their love is rushed like lightning speed.

See the tender moments they showed after Hassan's death - Never expected such fine and depth scenes between them post the usual sugary crap they dished out earlier but CV's are capable of writing good episodes also. But do not know what is the need for this mad rush. In last 5 episodes, they have killed the soul and fabric of the romance / Ishq. Akbar saying to RUKS " Maanthe hai Jodha has become MUZ" is laughable, to say the least 😡😭. It was never a classy, intelligent , lively , intense and gripping epic love as made out to be due to Jalal's butchered character and Halo around heroine mahantaa. But whatever little was there has been mercilessly plundered . It is heark breaking to say the least.

I will await SLB's Bajirao Mastani to see an aching and moving love story, keeping the fingers crossed.

Srividhya, the problem with all the producers - both cinema and television - is that they do not have the guts to break popular norms, or understand Love - They are all riddled with the 'Fear' of the bottom line - and hence can never make a Love Story - for that they have to first face all fears and have the Courage of Faith - As Devdutt Patnaik says - Fear is a Constant and Faith is a Choice, and its one choice that is always challenged by Fear

The great warrior Baji Rao, in heaven must be thanking his lucky stars. Ekta's first choice for a historical serial was not Jodha Akbar but Bajirao Mastani but Bhansali requested her not to do it because of his dream project.

Subsequently, Jodha and Akbar were unlucky enough to face Ekta's wrath. What bad luck!

Agree Adi - BO Collections and Corporatisation has changed Entertainment Industry - Both TV and Movies. Remember Serials like Bharat EK Khoj and Surabhi which was there in DD in 90s ? Can anyone make something like that today ?

Also I have my reservations on SLB's tackling of BM(Bajirao Mastani) as well. His heroines are too beautiful (I have no probs with it, welcome it whole heartedly ) but OTT, full of drama shown more than aching love in his movies. Mastani is truly a special character and the torture she went through with Baji Rao is very unique, she being a half-muslim. I hope he brings out the sensitivity more than screeching drama- And would like to see Maratha arts and settings rather than Gujrati arts (Love them anyways but still you need to be true to the story and region being told) - Let's wait and watch.

Another good wait would be for AG's Moganjadharo - He will bring in his special touch - will be an interesting watch.

But I am still not over the tragedy of what has been done to JA in a matter of 5-6 episodes . It is too much !!!!!! 😭 😭
