It's barely been a fortnight since the launch of Ekta Kapoor's 'Ajeeb Daastaan Hai Ye' on Life OK, and the show is all set to witness its first replacement. Abhishek Kapur, who plays Sonali Bendre's prospective brother-in-law Sanjay, has been shown the door. Newbie Prashant Chawla will take his place.


Says a source associated with the show, "Abhishek is a good actor, but he couldn't do justice to this particular role." Abhishek confirms, "The decision was mutual. I don't know the reason behind the replacement, but I feel lucky to have got the opportunity to work with Ekta Kapoor and Muzamil sir, the director of the show. Sonali ma'am and Apurva supported me during my stint. I am sure the decision has been taken keeping in mind the best interest of the show."
