She doesn't look bad at all. She still looks pretty. She looks different though. I couldn't recognize her. I actually thought it was a prank for a bit.

Maybe she just is aging. Maybe we are too judgmental on the looks of celebrities. Every time someone gains/loses weight that changes that changes their looks, people assume some work is done. We are also judgmental and critical of every act of plastic surgery as well and don't respect people's rights to do as they wish.

I only know Renee looks different. I don't know why she looks different. I guess I'm wrong in assuming that she went under the knife.

That being said - whether knife or not - the obsession we have with appearance is dangerous. No one has a positive body image anymore.

If she was a friend of mine, and if I had met her after five years I would have asked if she was unwell.. if she's suffering from any serious health issue. Because the change I'm seeing is the opposite of what everyone is saying. She's lost weight.. lost hair.. skin wizened. Which plastic surgeon would make his client look like that? Look at this picture.. I can even see the pores...

I wouldn't put it beyond plastic surgery to botch up appearance. It has happened before.

Some people age well, some people age poorly. There are many people who experience premature greying, balding, quicker appearance of wrinkles etc. Maybe it could be a health issue.

I guess the Renee issue has made us aware of how conscious we are of appearance and what a big deal we make about it.
