I just read a post saying big deal is made of the Mani Ishu hug coz she is a woman, which made me write this post.
Married woman or man flirting in front of your spouse with a friend of opposite sex is okay, like Bala- ishu did in front of Vandita or Mihika does with Raman in front of Ishita. That can never be misunderstood but the sh*t Ishita does with Mani is first of all wrong,
1. you dont ignore your spouse to talk to a friend more than once, or twice if I give some leeway.
2. You try to understand what is it about your friend that your spouse doesnt like, try to fix it or you cut off your communication to a bare minimum to keep peace in the family. Friends come and go, spouse is around 24/7
3. You NEVER, I mean N-E-V-E-R should change your friend's name to someone else so your spouse doesnt find out. Reminded me of Ranbir Kapoor's interview where he names someone "Low Battery" so his then GF wont suspect. SLEAZY
4. When you feel your spouse is already suspecting you, then you leave everything else and fix that issue first. To hell with all other things, instead you laugh about it and say bigger lies.. then your goose is cooked for good.
Bala- Ishu flirting was way too cute, unlike Mani- Ishu's flirtingwhich seems very forced. I dont get any friendly feeling from it and the over dependence of Ishita on Mani is another story!
