a lover can stand as friend forever and i have a eason to say this. just have a look

1- as we know, a lover always try to take care of us so thats why when we feel alone then a lover stand with us as friend to help us.

2- when a person is in love, both lovers do promise to stand with each other always. so when they failed to be one for life time and if they remember their promise, they definetly stand with each other , either as friend or a human being.
