Was debating whether to reply to your comments or continue with the chappy. Thought since abailable moments to update will be scarce, I should update.

Chapter 15
Everybody watches in stunned silence as Kalpi walks calmly into the house, wondering what the hell just happened. Gauri masi takes control of the situation and barks out instructions, "Pakhi, Check on Kalpi." Not waiting to see if Pakhi is following her instructions, she looks angrily towards her son and says, "you and I need to talk, but first..." Leaving the sentence Incomplete, she grabs hold of prem's hand and walks towards the house.
Ragav turns away from the house and faces the ocean, unconsciously clenching and unclenching his fists and jaw, his mind replaying Kalpi's words. Priya snaps, "how could you..." She stops mid sentence as she sees the murderous look in Ragav's eyes. Hesitantly she says, "Ragav I don't think..." Not caring to hear what she has to say, he says sharply, "not another word. Leave me alone."
Priya looks at him in frustration, knowing that in his present mood he will not listen to reason. With a sigh she gestures for maya and Sammy to leave with her. Ragav stares out into the ocean, angry with Kalpi, thinking, "how dare she not want to marry me... How dare she reject me..." He turns towards the house, stares at the upper storey of the house. He storms towards Kalpi's room giving no thought to his actions, allowing his emotions... His anger to rule his actions.

Pakhi walks into the room she shares with Kalpi hesitantly. She sees Kalpi standing by the window furiously wiping her tears. She calls out, "Kalpi." Kalpi turns towards her, her gaze filled with accusation. Gulping, Pakhi says, "I didn't mean to betray you. I had no choice. I..." Seeing Pakhi's tears, Kalpi gives her a half hearted smile and says, "I am not mad at you nor angry with you. I know prem. He must have bullied you into telling him everything." Frowning she continues, "I just don't understand how he knew that something happened between us." Pakhi looks away guilty at first, then takes a deep breathe and explains to Kalpi how prem found out.

"How could you! How could you embarrass Kalpi like this", Gauri masi says angrily. Pacing about the study she continues vhelmently, "there was a reason why I took Pakhi away from the group and to the study." Shame faced, prem looks to the floor, unable to meet his masi's gaze. "I am sorry. I didn't think. I just reacted," he says apologetically. "What sort of reason is this... I just reacted... I didn't think... Has my sister raised animal!" She says scoldingly and continues to berate him for what he did to Kalpi. Realising his error in the way he handled the situation, he says, "I shall go and talk to Kalpi. I owe her an apology. I.." He stops mid sentence, shakes his head and walks out of the study.
Gauri drops herself on the chair by the desk, shaking her head with worry, thinking what will she tell her sister, worse yet Maya and sammy know everything and should they tell their parents... Oh God! How will they react? Will they break the engagement?... Sighing, she shuts her eyes and massages her forehead, thinking, "damn Ragav for not manning up and doing the responsible thing. He should have gone on one knee and proposed to her. I will have to talk to that boy!"
Startled Gauri sits up, grasping the hands that are massaging her forehead, opens her eyes and turns, she smiles warmly, she turns back and let's the person continue massaging her, saying, "I knew you would come. You always worry about me." "What to do Gauri maa", Priya says teasingly, "you have become a habit. Now let us focus... How do we get that son of yours to propose... And before you ask... I am fine. I think we should check on Kalpi and prem... Just in case..."

Ragav enters Kalpi's room, both girls turn to the door to see who has come. Ragav look at Pakhi and says, "leave." Pakhi initially intends to refuse, but something in Ragav's look warns her that he is in no mood to humour her. Sensing a wildness in him that was demanding to be unleashed, she rushes out, saying, "Kalpi I think you and Ragav should talk."
Ragav and Kalpi silently glare at one another angrily. Ragav walks upto her, standing mere inches away from her, causing Kalpi to strain her neck so that she can maintain her eye contact, thinking, "damn him for being so tall. I will not back down."
Grasping her upper arms, his fingers biting into her arms, he looks down at her in anger and says bitingly, "why the hell don't you want to marry me? Who the hell do you think you are to reject me?" Stunned, Kalpi just stares at him, thinking, "huh!what the hell?" She scowls at him angrily and says, "it was very easy. I am not interested in marrying you. I..." Not letting her finish he says, "not interested in me... Liar!" Seeing the look of determination on his face as he inches closer to her, Kalpi panics and says, "Ragav stop... Don't you dare..." He kisses her in anger, drowning out the rest of her words. Moments later, he nuzzles her neck, whispering, "kiss me back!" As he kisses her again, eventuallysuccessful in persuading her to kiss him back.
Prem walks into the room ready to apologise for his earlier outburst, hoping that Kalpi will forgive him for emberrasing her when he sees red. Angry to have caught them kissing especially after both insisteded they did not want to marry each other, he yells, "W*F! Get away from my sister." Fighting to control his anger, he clenches and unclenches his fists as he forces hi,self to stay still, thinking, "damn it. I am going to kill him." Ragav and Kalpi break apart, both guilty and embarrassed for having being caught in a compromising position. Unable to meet Prem's gaze, Kalpi flushes and looks down to her feet, thinking, "omg! Damn Ragav. I hate him." Ragav looks at prem, keeping a blank expression on his face, thinking, "shit! I am going to have to let him beat me up again."
Gauri and Priya hear prem yell and rush into the room, both thanking God that they decided to follow prem. Prem forces himself to keep calm, he looks towards Ragav and Kalpi speculatively, then towards his masi and Priya. Everybody silently stands there, wondering what prem is thinking. Moments later he speaks up, "looks like both of you can't keep your hands off each other. As her brother and guardian, Ragav I demand that you marry my sister." He looks at Kalpi, who is about to speak and says, "not a word from you." He turns to his masi and says, "masi can you call the priest and ask him to come over and get them married. I will handle the family. In fact later we can do a proper marriage." Gauri masi looks and him and says, "sure. I shall call him and arrange everything." Silently she thanks God that she and Priya would not have to think of something to get them married. She gives Ragav a look of disappointment and walks out of the room when prem calls out, "masi I want him to get them married today."
Angry for being treated in this manner,folding his arms in front of his chest, Ragav says, "I don't recall agreeing to this marriage!" To which prem retorts vhemlmently, "I don't recall asking you!" Then storms out of the room before he gives in to temptation and beats the day lights out of Ragav. He reaches the stairs, sees Maya, turns back and goes back to Kalpi's room.
"Priya," he calls out as he enters the room, "I am sorry for all this, but I need a favour. I don't want Maya ans sammy to find out about this. Please would you take them out of the house on some..." Priya smiles and interrupts him, saying, "not to worry. I shall handle it. Mum is the word!"
