Meekash could have asked Mukta and Vishnu to stay at their home until this issue with Rani was resolved right? Akash asked to report to cops and just came back home and sleeping happily after complicating matters for Mukta and Vishnu.

Actually Meethi did say Mukta to stay in their house so they both will be safe and she will ask Akash to arrange security but Mukta cannot decide without asking Vishnu coz he might not have agreed.

I dont know what is happening in serial but even if meethi ask mukta vishnu to stay in their house nani still would have bad mouth meethi .nani always have grudeges against iccha family no matter iccha do favour to thakur family , iccha who gave veer to tapasya during wedding so that tapasya become happy but still nani has grudges against iccha and even say to mukta that iccha snatch ur mother toys and then later iccha snatch ur mother love .in same way when meethi give dress to mukta for welcome party in college nani still have grudges against meethi .even if iccha gave heart to tapasya to save tapasya life nani still have grudges against iccha]fact is that nani never like friendship between iccha and tapasya and meethi and mukta .nani always wanted iccha tapasya should hate each other forever and mukta meethi should hate each other forever
one day meethi mukta become friend of each other nani could not tolerate mukta meethi friendship and nani went to tapasya room and talk to tapasya photo that no it can't happen mukta meethi cant become friends
