Okay I know my ss hadnt been updated since forever but I was upset with the new promo that I just had to pen this down. This os is based on the current track. Not proof-read so kindly ignore any mistakes.
OS: My only ray of light

He sat there on the bed. His laptop infront of him, trying to concentrate on his work. But his mind keeps showing him flashbacks.. Flashbacks of how she hugged that mani... How she told him that she loves him... And anger rose inside him. And he couldn't hold it in anymore. He slammed the laptop shut ad threw it across the room. Tears ran down his cheeks as he screamed. Screamed because he was tired, because he was hurt. Screamed because nobody understands him. Screamed because SHE couldn't understand him.
Yes she, Ishita raman bhalla.. The woman who cared enough to break down the walls he built around his heart. The woman who showed him the brighter side of life. The woman who would fight with him the entire day, yet will fight with the whole world for his happiness. The woman who was the only light in his dark life. But now he feels that darkness engulfing him again. He could no longer see that little ray of light. Seeing ishita in mani's arms literally broke him, but hearing her confess her love to him shattered him into a million pieces.
"Why don't you just leave ishita?! Why did you come into my life when you wanted to leave me behind like this?? Why did you fill my life with momentary happiness?? Why did you make my lifeless heart beat again?? Most importantly, why did you make my heart beat for you??" He screamed and fell on the floor. He burried his face in his knees and cried.
Ishita was at the door listening to all this. As much as she was happy that her plan of knowing his feelings for her worked, she was broken seeing him like this. She never thought it would affect him this way. And realizing that unknowingly she had brought him back to that circle of life where shagun left him made her heart bleed.
She didn't think twice before running into the room. And the next moment she was there sitting next to him. She caressed his hairs and as expected he pushed her hand away angrily.
"Why are you here? Why waste your life with an arrogant and insensitive man like me when there already is someone you love and who loves you??" He screamed angrily.
Ishita's tears fell on his lap as she calmly held his hand. He tried to pry his hand away but she held on tighter. This irritated him further and he opened his mouth to blast her off when she took his hand and kept it on her chest, right where her heart was beating. He softened a bit but the next moment he broke down realizing those heartbeats were for someone else.
Ishita kept looking at his face the whole while and still keeping his hand on her heart, she wiped his tears with her other hand.
"It's okay ishita. You don't have to do all this. You don't have to pretend. I'm not going to chase people anymore. You want to leave? Fine then, go ahead. Because I'm done chasing and caring for people who never had interest in me. If you want to leave, you can. I'll remember you though, I remember everyone that leaves. Nothing lasts and people change. I've learned this the hard way. I've learned that love is hard and life isn't always what you want it to be" He told her softly.
"Raman, you are right. Life is not always what you want it to be. Rather, life is always what you believe it to be. You believe that just because shagun left you, you can't trust anyone. But raman, just because you saw the darkest side of life doesn't mean you can't start afresh. Just because you were in the darkest of nights doesn't mean the sun wouldn't rise. And just because love deceived you once, doesn't mean everybody you love will deceive you. You might be in a storm raman, but it can't rain forever. Once the rain stops, you'll see the rainbow, and the sun will smile down at you" Ishita replied calm as ever.
Raman searched her eyes to find the meaning behind her words when she spoke up again.
"Yes raman. In your life, the storm was mani, the rain was your insecurities, once you let go of the insecurities you accepted your feelings which is the rainbow. And I am the sun in your life and I'll always be finding my happiness in yours. It was all a prank raman. Remember how you played a prank on me just to get me to talk to you? It hurt me raman. So I thought I would play a prank on you, to get you out of insecurities and accept your inner feelings." She said.
"This was so wrong ishita. Wrong. There were so many ways to do this but you chose the way which would break me apart?" He shaked his head and tears rolled down his cheeks again.
"I know raman. But sometimes the wrong choices brings us to the right places" She smiled at him.
He looked at her in awe. This woman had the capability of melting him down in every situation. Just a moment back he was angry at her. He was sure that the little light in his life was gone. But here she is, lighting up his heart and his world at whole and fueling the fire with her sweet and gentle words.
He looked at his hand on her heart and removed it. He saw a glint of sadness in her eyes for a fraction of a second before he took her hand with his and placed it on his heart. "Ishita, if this stopped, would you miss me?" He whispered.
And she broke down in his arms. "Raman! Don't you dare utter such words again. You have no idea how much your words hurt me. You have no idea how difficult it is for me to sleep on the couch when all I want to do is snuggle into your arms and sleep on your chest. You have no idea how fast I drive to reach home after the clinic just to get a glimpse of you. You have no idea how much I crave your touch and how much I love your one liners. You have no idea how much I love you and I have no idea how I am going to live without you. I crave you more than my next breath and you are talking nonsense like this??"
Raman smiled at her heartfelt confession and hugged her tighter. He smiled more when she didn't stop and continued with her big confession.
"I'll take you with all that you are raman.. Be it your insecurities, your pain, your secrets, your past, your longings or your dreams. I'll take you completely...without any exemptions. I'll.."
That was enough for raman and he sealed her mouth with his before she could continue anymore. His heart swelled with happiness as he felt her responding to him. "I love you ishita", he whispered against her lips and he felt her smiling before voicing a small "I love you too raman". And she pressed her lips against his again. It was a kiss of promise, to never let go of each other; a vow, to cherish each other forever and ever.
~~You were never supposed to mean this much to me; I was never supposed to fall so hard. But you know what? I did and that's the truth. That's what keeps me holding on because it hurts like hell to let you go, and I would die without you~~
