Open letter to moderators and Fangroups - Page 5

Brainless moderators !!! 👏 that's like a 50crore opening day !!! 🤣

Agreed for Katrina & Sonam Fans who are Deepika haters.
I read all comment posted by this group. Most of them wrote rude words toward all member who praise Deepika. If can, they want everyone to hate deepika from head to toes, and hate her like no end. I don't know what kind of people like that. Childish or cracked on their head?

Poor moderators bear the brunt. Damned if you do. Damned if you don't.

I'm a bit sympathetic and biased towards moderators because I was in their shoes once. Very few members on IF are reasonable and unbiased. Everyone has their strong likes and dislikes.

People get irrationally upset when their favorites are bashed, but have no qualms turning around and bashing those they dislike. If moderators edit posts and warn people they are criticized for being Nazis and not respecting freedom of speech, but if they take a lenient approach they are criticized for allowing people to break rules and bash left and right.

Not that all moderators are good. I know many are biased and tend to support one viewpoint. Many don't make an effort to be reasonable. That being said, I still place more blame on the neurotic members IF attracts.

If one writes an open letter about the abundance of open letters does it become like "If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" 😛

Because this is an open forum, we do expect members to be civil to each other when responding and to refrain from getting personal with one another. The rules of the forum are put in place so as to maintain a healthy atmosphere for discussion. However, that does not mean that members aren't allowed to express their opinions. Everyone isn't expected to like the same celebrities or speak only positively about them, but when you do voice your opinions, it should be done in a civil manner, and without getting personal with each other. There's really no reason to attack other members over differences about celebrities, and that's something that will strictly not be tolerated on IF. In addition to this, derogatory or demeaning comments against any celebrity will not be tolerated, including name-calling as this only ends up creating a mess in the thread and IF is not the place for it. The rules of the forum have been put in place to maintain some peace and decorum.
