Partner, Cash stars not promoting films
The stars of David Dhawan's 'Partner' and Anubhav Sinha's 'Cash' are not ready to promote their own films. Apart from Ajay Devgan and Dia Mirza, none of the stars, which include Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Lara Dutta, Suniel Shetty among others are shooting for other films, but even they aren't willing to spend any time to promote their film.
Partner is releasing on 20th July and Cash on 27th of July but the star cast of the both the films have not taken time out to interact with the media. On Sunday, the press meet for Partner was canceled, the reason "because stars don't have time for it" said a source from the PR department of Adlabs. Partner teams up comedy kings Govinda and David Dhawan along with Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and Lara Datta.
The same source also said, "When we tried to get in touch with the film promoter he said that this press conference will be held the day after tomorrow because some stars are not available."
Cash, on the other hand, has a huge star cast, which includes the likes of Ajay Devgan, Suneil Shetty, Riteish Deshmukh, Zayed Khan, Diya Mirza, Shamita Shetty and Esha Deol. The film's Public Relation person said, "We used to do the PR for Adlabs but now the problem is that Adlabs has become a Distributor from being a producer and the stars are not under their control, so it is handled by some other PR."
Our sources in PR added, "We are looking after the personal PR work of Ajay Devgan so we will promote him, not Cash. The Cash team is facing some major problems since the producer has been changed and the star cast is just not ready to promote the film."
