Roli entered into the room and found Mr.Bharadwaj sleeping. (She couldn't see his face as he had covered it with his blanket). Roli put the file on the table and sat down on a chair in the room. After thinking about how to find out about Siddhant for a little while, Roli decided to read Mr.Bharadwaj's file, to understand his case fully. As she was about to pick up the file, the door opened slightly. Two people walked in, a man and a woman. It was Rajendra and Sujatha. Roli went up to them. "Namaste aunty, namaste uncle. You...?" "We're here to meet our son," replied Rajendra. Roli understood that they were Mr. Bharadwaj's parents. They looked tensed. Sujatha didn't seem she was in a condition to say anything. She was just hoping that everything is alright. "Oh, ok. Mr. Bharadwaj is sleeping right now..." Just then, Siddhant started to move around in his sleep.

Roli decided to give them some privacy. "Aunty, uncle, you may sit down. I will be back in a little while." She grabbed the file and decided she would sit outside the room and read it. She exited the room and sat on the chairs kept outside of the room. Just as she was about to look at the file, her phone rang. It was her mother. She picked it up. "Yes maa?" "Roli, you didn't have breakfast. Please remember to have lunch." "Ok maa. it's still morning. I will eat at lunch time." "Promise?" "yes maa, I promise, don't worry. Ok, now I have to go, bye!" As soon as Roli cut the phone, a little girl walked up to her. "hi!" said the little girl. "Hello," Roli replied. "Are you a nurse?" "Yes." "You know, I also want to become a nurse when I am older." "Oh really? What's your name sweetie?" "My name is Nisha." "So, Nisha, I mean, nurse Nisha, do you like to take care of people?" "Yes. You know, when my mom is not feeling well, I help my dad to take care of her." "That's great. I am sure you will make a wonderful nurse." By that time, Nisha's father came to take her. "Nisha dear, don't go away like that. I got worried," he said. "Sorry papa," Nisha apologized. "You have a lovely daughter," Roli commented. "Thank you, hope she didn't bother you." "No, not at all" "Ok we have to go now, bye!" "Ok bye sir. Bye nurse Nisha!"

Meanwhile:

Siddhant got up from sleep. Shen he opened his eyes, he saw his parents on both sides of him. He took a deep breath, to relax himself, while praying to God to keep him strong in front of his parents. "Hello maa. Hello papa." "Hi my son. How are you feeling?" asked Sujatha. "I'm ok mom. Why are you so worried? See me, I'm perfectly alright." Siddhant had to try very hard to keep his tears in and sound normal. He knew he was far from alright. "How are you both feeling?" he asked. Rajendra replied, "We are fine too, just waiting for you to come home." "Hmm... I want to come home too." After a few minutes of silence, Siddhant decided to tell them the truth. "Maa. Papa. I have to tell you something. Promise me wou will not get tensed and will remain normal." "What happened? You're ok, right?" Sujatha asked in panic and shock. "Maa, I told you na? Don't freak out. remain calm please." Rajendra told Sujatha to calm down and let Siddhant say what he wants to say. Siddhant began to speak. "Maa, Papa, I don't know how to say this, but I know I have to tell you. Actually, due to the accident..." Siddhant said slowly. Then he just blurted out really fast in one breath: "I got paralysed in the lower half of my body" "What?!?!?" Siddhant's parents exclaimed in shock. Sujatha just got up and rushed out of the room and Rajendra went behind her to console her. "Maa! Papa! Stop!" screamed Siddhant. He also got tears in his eyes.

Roli had just finished talking to Nisha when she heard the commotion in the room. She was about to check, when Sujatha and Rajendra came out of the room. Roli tried to calm them down. She knew in general that her patient Mr. Bharadwaj was paralysed, so she understood that his parents had just found out about his condition and wre upset because of it. She tried her best to console them. "Aunty, uncle, please calm down. Please relax yourselves." By now, even Rajendra had started to break down emotionally. When Roli was trying to quieten them, the doctor came by. He also tried to speak with them. But as he was in a rush, he quickly went inside the room to talk to Siddhant.

"Hello Siddhant. I just met your parents and I see that you've told them the news." Yes doctor. I told them and see their reaction? This is exactly what I was afraid of." "I understand. But you and I know both know that they had to find out. Anyways, I'm sorry but I'm in a rush. I came here to tell you that you will have one nurse looking after you at all times. She's an orthopaedic specialist. Although it's very rare, we may be able to get your legs working again." Siddhant's face lit up. "Really doctor?" "As I said, it's very rare, but we will try." "Ok..." Anyway, your nurse is outside, consoling your parents. Roli is a very nice-hearted girl. Anyway, I have to go now. I will come back to check on you later. Bye" "Bye doctor" The doctor left the room. Then Siddhant thought, "Roli? She's going to be my nurse?" He was getting an unusual sort of exciting feeling.

In the meantime, Roli had managed to calm down Rajendra and Sujatha a little bit. She had explained to them that they should be strong in front of their son in order to keep him encouraged, else it will have a negative effect on his health. Roli decided to bring Mr. Bharadwaj's parents into the room again. As she stepped in, she saw Siddhant and was shocked...
