Basu's Jasoos Stint

Anurag Basu's Jagga Jasoos seems to be turning into a never-ending film. The shoot started in December last year and the movie will not wrap this year. The reason is, leading actor Ranbir Kapoor has signed too many films and is juggling his various commitments. This week Jagaa Jasoos starts rolling in Thailand but after a 10-day schedule, Kapoor will head to Shimla to shoot Imtiaz Ali's Tamasha. Thus, once again, another big schedule of Jagga Jasoos takes a toss and gets postponed to next year.

Is Ranbir not happy with this film? Why is he always postponing this one so much and prioritizing other films over it? 😕

Deepika said Tamasha resumes in January only. Basu said they'll complete majority of the shoot by November and then small schedule in May next year.

I don't think this news is true 'cos Tamasha shoot starts next year. But its been tough to coordinate Ranbir and Katrina's dates. They planned to complete the film by December when Fitoor's Kashmir schedule was cancelled due to floods. But then Fitoor team decided to shoot Mumbai scenes first so Kat needs to join them in November.
