Hello Friends,

just trying to distract myself from the present track, especially the character assassination of the leads.
So I decided to write a fictitious letter, its a long, sorry! here it goes... not meant to offend anyone.
thanks, t.
Dear Ishita,
Since you don't want to speak to me OR hear me, my only hope is that you will read this letter to the end.

When you were you were hospitalized, Abhimanyu was courteous enough to point out what a appalling husband I am to you. Our marriage, which is for my benefit alone has been intolerable for you... thanks to my callousness towards you. It was a shock to say the least, to hear about our marriage from a 3rd party. I would have thought if you were suffering because of me, you would have bought it to my attention JRK! You have always stood up to me. I have viewed you as my equal and found you to be a worthy opponent!

As much as I hate to admit, Abhimanyu's words compelled me to reflect up on my behaviour towards you and our equation or lack of it. True when you were hospitalized, I didn't know anything about you, I still don't! I was incredibly grateful when you gained consciousness and vowed to myself that I will do my best to be a good husband and get to know you better. Much to my dismay, I can't make you happy! Be it try to be helpful (washing machine fiasco) or to my recent misbehaviour. All I ask is how would you feel, if you walked in on me with my so called FEMALE best friend (who makes you feel incompetent). And, then you received a supposed surprise gift that you thought was meant for the friend. STILL, does not excuse my outburst and I humbly apologize from the bottom of my heart. What followed was half baked idea to get your attention, so I could feel better. You are right, I am insensitive, selfish and cruel. Hear you say that made me realize how unfair this marriage has been for, not just me but my baggage as well. Be that, Param, Simi, Shagun, Adi, each one has caused you pain. You can even bear to wake up next to me, it disgusts you. (Chhee incident was a blow to my swabhiman not abhiman)

Ishita, no more. I care a lot about you and want you to be happy. Ruhi makes you happy and you make her happy. I love both my children and want the best for them. Regrettably, my equation with Adi is desolate, thanks to Shagun. Children of divorce can grow up content life if the parents are selfless and prioritize the children. That will be impossible with Shagun as she is heartless. You however are selfless with golden heart and you deserve to be happy. Ruhi is our daughter and we don't need to be together or married to raise her well.

No more fighting with you, no more anguish for you. I want to set you free from this burden, I will take full responsibility for the separation. Ruhi will be your charge, all i want is to be part of her life as her father. I have no doubt with we will manage to be best parents to Ruhi... after all it's all about... sirf Ruhi ke liye.

Although letter idea is wonderful, separation or divorce is last option. If Ishita continues her I dont want to listen to ur explaination stance for a longer period f time then may b ya 😳

Really good letter.. But I don't think they should separate. I want Raman to actually fix things, not run away because he thinks he isn't a good husband. I want him to work on his trusting issues and learn to love again. Although, I don't approve of Ishita's cold-treatment, I still think Raman has to make some efforts here to make things work for them. I can't always be Ishita!

the letter is Raman's understanding about the current situation, how he is feeling and how he is perceiving Ishita's displeasure. Sorry, I am not familiar with posting much, should have clarified that at the beginning, this is the first show I have become an active member on the forum, my second post, I think!
IMO the YHM is loosing its essence since the slot change. The cvs have not only butchered the lead characterization and filled space with irrelevant side stories BUT worst of all they are excluding most important and essential component of the show... RUHI! I miss her ❤️

agree with you, I don't want separation either but I think the letter might defrost Ishita, if she can see from his point of view... reverse psychology!😉

Beautifully written and apt for the current situation. It just might be the wake-up call that Ishita need because she takes Raman for granted as well. 😊
