You folks do remember, don't you that today is Akbar's bithday. He was born on this day in the year 1542, in the Rajput fortress of Amerkot, Sindh.

Surely, some celebration is in order. This day comes but once a year.🥳

Well said. We need a politician like him. I visited the blog of Chief Justice Kutju. He quotes Akbar as issuing the following orders " Strict instructions to all Magistrates in the Mughal empire. Special care to ensure that no favoritism in decision making is taken on the basis of religion, Hindu or Muslim"

Akbar's birthday is at least one happy moment in the deluge of tragedy that Ekta has blessed the TV screen with. In her outmoded way of thinking tragedy and negativity in every episode equals ratings.
