What does Abhi do for a living?

Is just writing sporadically enough to be called a man of the house? I mean he interferes in all the gharelu drama like a Phattu....Just walks behind simran like her tail...

Good point u raised!Fyi,Abhi is an award winning writer who has published many books apparently,and as far as i know for a writer,whose books are published(award winning or not!)and are sold to the public,they earn something called 'royalty'from the sales of the books from the publisher,just like a singer,who earns the same way if he/she has her/his albums sold in the market.So Abhi here,is earning a living after all!And in my opinion,after 18yrs of dumping all the responsibilities on Simran's shoulders,its just fair that he DOES get involved in all thats happening with the kids and home,it doesn't make him a phattu,it makes a person responsible,and in Abhi's case,its high time he takes up that responsibility and i'm glad he is. 😊

Yes he ought to get involved...but evidently its around only 3 people...I mean he needs to get a life and behave like a man he need not have to be home and around 24/7 brooding with Simran.

He is taking responsibilty...fine....he is over doin it and needs to get a life!!

I see most of you are living in developed countries but can't take it if the man doesn't act like a man (in the traditional sense of the word). C'mon -- why should women only have to deal with these things? I'm assuming you will be the ones sitting at home once you have a husband.
Writers typically work from their home. They usually show only morning and night scenes whenever they show Simran & Abhi's house so I'm assuming when Simran is away at the hospital he's doing his writing. Do you want him to be totally not involved in his household affairs even when it's their personal time?

Yes, Abhi spends his time at home, in his room, writing...Otherwise, he is seen dealing with the problems in his life along with his wife Simran. Now, to answer to the question that Does Abhi need to work in order to gain more respect rather than invloving himself in gharelu matters, maybe Yes, maybe Not...😛

As we know, Abhi just got an Award, a very presitigious one. The TV news announced that he is going to get 1 Lakh dollars as cash prize...(I guess i am correct with the amount, otherwise, please do clarify in the update i wrote). Kiran was actually alarmed at the huge money Abhi is getting!!! So, i feel if Abhi writes even one book like this in the span of 2-3 years, (which will earn him so much), i guess he is financially very well-off. What is the need to toil in an office if you can get such huge money, writing from home?

Agreed Sree!I mean i definetely think its about time Abhi takes over the responsibilities that concerns his home anyway!And i wud't mind my husband working from home,in fact it wud be a boon,as he wud also at the same time be able to know whats going on with the kids etc!Its pretty common anyway nowadays to have your office at home! 😊

There was a previous member here (god rest his soul), called wawahehe (who i fondly referred to as my old bean - again god rest his soul) 😆 who ALWAYS called abhi a loser.That I remember, but can u perhaps let me know when u did? 😉

It's high time that Abhi starts to share some responsibilities with Simran!!😡 He left Simran all alone for 18 years to raise a kid by herself. If he doesn't take over now, when will he?😡 He should be the man of the house, not Simran!!😛 Although, the fact that he earns so much from writing those books seems very unconvincing to me😕 But if that's really true, I'm satisfied😊
