After being an ardent viewer of Gul's shows, I am disappointed in the female lead. I understand that she is a newcomer, needs time to improve and all. But still, I think she needs to improve alot in her acting and expressions vice versa. After watching such brilliant female leads like Sanaya Irani and Surbhi Jyoti, Shivya has to improve alot, like really alot. Because when I watch her scenes, I easily get bored and lose interest in her character. I am not trying to offend anyone, but as a viewer this is just my opinion. I understand her character is not OTT like Khushi or Zoya, but still she needs to bring more life to Arzoo's character. I really hope she proves me wrong, and reforms her acting skills. Otherwise, I feel Sana Khan would have been a perfect choice for Arzoo's character.

I think Shivya plays the character of Aarzoo perfectly ... Aarzoo is someone who is calm and composed until she loses temper that is 😆😆 and Shivya brings about that in her acting nicely ... I'm actually loving this type of characterization because for I'm too used to the the hyper-active overly-happy female leads for a while now (nothing wrong in that .. but most people can't relate to it) ... Besides she puts plenty of expressions where they are needed like her "OMG-I-Just-Physically-Assaulted-My-Boss" and her "oops" moments are a treat to watch
Give her time ... I'm sure she will grow as the character of Aarzoo grows too

i disagree, for a new comer she has done wonderfully, like you said her character isnt ott, thankfully. shivya to me has definitely emodied the character of arzoo and brings freshness to her, as fo sana khan, nah dont see it. i really like shivya and pretty much what lost said as well

Like the two members before, I would have to respectfully disagree. Shivya has played Arzoo's nuanced saadhagi perfectly. Arzoo isn't loud or as vivacious as Khushi or Zoya, and I think that's what makes Arzoo so much more different, and Shivya's portrayal of her even more important. Arzoo is very emotive, but that comes through with her eyes and her voice, very less physically. Shivya brings a completely needed freshness to Arzoo, and I love it!

i think FL doing fabulous job playing Aarzoo character being a new comer. i also read/heard that she was a miss Simla. i know it has nothing to do with acting skills, but she definitely has some axcting skills in her sleve.
dont take me wrong , but other shows' FLs never listened to anyone and every other character treated them like she never does anything wrong. more over she never would share anything ( her thoughts , emotions, etc ) with anyone else and she resolves by herself

but in this show, her family members tell her to control her anger, and she shares everything with her family members and follows their advise. She does not act like she is a super woman. I think its something fresh and unique.

citicizing to help improve the skills is one thing and criticizing to put others down is --------- ( you can fill in the gap ).

To be honest, I did't know quite know what to think of Shivya's acting skills from the initial promos but after watching her these past few weeks portraying Arzoo, I think Gul chose the perfect actress for this role. Like someone mentioned before, Shivya's eyes and voice effectively communicate the character's emotions. So far, I like the actress and do think she will improve more as the show progresses.

Problem is not with shiviya i feel she is doing great as a newcomer but her script is bizarre at times which makes her scenes boring, in showing innocence and strength of woman they at times make a mess and make the char look stupid . If anything its her script that needs fine tuning.

And no i do not at all want her replaced, i like her and am pretty happy with her

As a new comer she is facing some difficulty. she looked very talented and matured in promos. but now she is not that much good as I saw her in promos. hope she improves soon. otherwise it is very difficult to keep the show on run as the track mainly focusing on her.

Even if the show fail to gain TRP, the channel won't chop it so soon. surely SP has time to pick up.

As others have said, Arzoo is very different from Gul's previous characters. I think her character is supposed to be more mature and "samajdaar" than Khushi or Zoya. It's refreshing to see a character that has a (usually) steady head on her shoulders. Much more relatable and realistic. I think Shivya is doing a good job, but for sure there is room for improvement on her part. The improvements will come with time :) For the record, I felt the same way about Surbhi the first couple of months of Qubool Hai. As for the script, it could definitely use some work! And an entrance of a new negative so early in the story just doesn't make sense! But whatever, I'm no script-writer! All I know is that even though the show isn't perfect, I'll still keep watching :D
