Now I realize why Puneet ji says - Physical nahin hona. It's because he still feels guilty about the Amitabh Bachchan incident and he is scared of hurting anyone, however slightly. It's sad but he never got over it.

He had told salman once, when people become aggressive, I back off because I don't want to hurt anyone... It's really hard on him, to carry that guilt of hurting AB... I feel bad for him...

What guilt? I dont get it. What has he done so wrong? Will anyone ever hit AB for purpose? What is the problem with people who are holding him responsible and not letting him go? He cannot joke with rekha w/o getting a taunt. He was ignored while all others were hugging each other and having fun.

why? behind that innocent face and happy face there is someone who is deeply hurt. he is afraid of fights. he is afraid of touching others. he is known for that one mistake. have we not harmed others by mistake?

leave him alone for God's sake.

It is our duty to pay him back. to make him a winner. to let him know that you did nothing wrong and those who hold you responsible are wrong. there is only one way to do it and that is to keep voting and show that janta loves you.

Wasn't it an accident ? Then why hold him responsible. 😕 Accident can happen anytime and with anyone. 😕 I am not a Punit fan but I feel people should forget about it and move on. If it was really an accident and he didn't do anything purposely of course. 😊

I genuinely think this matter has been dragged far too long already, it was an accident and I believe mr bachan too had clarified that .. the media dragged this issue out of proportations, and decades later puneet ji is still being held responsible for it like it was a deliberate attack! I think he has also been 'punished' long enough by ppl still holding this over his head!

During shooting of movie coolie Sir Puneet Issar was an extra. No one knew at that time he would end up a super star. Anyway he accidentally hit Amitabh Bachan in abdomen and due to this he was taken to hospital and remained ill for a while. Side actors do false fighting acting. They dont really hit people but they act. Sir Issar just did noth withdraw at time and hit AB. He was strong and I guess it was just a mistake.

It seems from media reports that industry cornered him and did not treat him well. Yesterday rekha passed some mean comments saying well ab bhi kuch karne ko reh gaya hai (do you still want to do something) implying. He got saddened and when Rekha came he just stood aside in sad mood and no one cared either. Maybe he had tears in his eyes.

Point is he has all this in his heart and at times he gets emotional. He maybe happy from inside but there is a sad person inside. He did not deserve what he got. I am sure many understand but then you need few to hurt. When rekha can do this then imagine people passing remarks, sarcasm.

This man is hurt.

according to news he did purani mandir n coolie in 1983 when accident happened, then got mahabharat in 1988 .. apparently the industry boycotted him inbetween
