so glad gonna get to watch Humsafar on my big tv screen starting tmrw -FINALLY!!!

this is a fab show!!! Started watching pak shows after HS. However, besides durreshewar ( which is also gonna be shown on zindagi as Dhoop chaon) and Pyaare afzal, no other show has come close!!

Love Love Humsafar! Fab cast , great acting-production values-editing-direction and OST along with the awesome chemistry bw fawad and mahira, makes it a classic-on the lines of dhoop kinare and tanhaiyan!

So glad India is gonna get to see it..am confident its going to be a monster hit..glad that they are promoting it so well.. sure it is gonna sweep the country just like it did pakistan.

Oh Mahira was fab in the show..all the women were..atiqa ( MIL) n naveen ( sarah) were superb too...Fawad was good but for me the women stood out...and in the last epi, in the climax, atiqa was OUTSTANDING!

HS made Mahira and fawad super stars...fawad hasnt been able to top HS ...have been disappointed in his subsequent drama choices-all have been let downs. glad he moved on to hindi films as i dont see him topping HS back home. but mahirah did well to choose Shehr e zaat and now sadqay tumhare...diff genres and great scripts. she has done selective but good work.

Yes Apart from ZGH post Humsafar none of his choices have been great so far, ZGH too I liked it more for Kashaf's story. I so wish Fawad can get a character like Pyaray Afzal, it is so rare to get a male character around whom the story revolves. Pyaray Afzal is right up there in my favoruites along with Humsafar. Mahira has made good choices and she has improved with every project, I am completely obsessed about Sadqay Tumhare but i'll wait to see if it becomes my all time favourite

ZGh was an average show...honestly sanam was far better than fawad in the show...she owned it..he was ok...he got great material in HS to which he did full justice and thus he shone...but zgh suffered from average direction, loose script and patchy editing...it dragged. Except for sanam, it was a major disappointment to me.

mahira is an intelligent actress...for whatever reasons, she has done selective work but thats worked in her favour as whatever she has done subsequently to HS has been top notch. i hope she continues to get good dramas back home... hope to see her in hindi movies some day...of all the pak actresses, she seems to have the most potential to make it here, Yes she has the looks , talent, and personality but more importantly, she has that "X" factor that sets her apart. A big plus also is she isnt over exposed like the other popular actresses who seem to be doing too many dramas at any given time...

Loved pyaare afzal...again, like HS it was a great ensemble show...everything came together beautifully...but above all, i loved the language-beautiful..hoping to see the same magic repeat in Sadqay tumhare as the writer is the same...even though he writes mostly tragic love stories.

@bold-I strongly disagree on this part.This show had its flaws but according to me it has set a benchmark as far as the writing is concerned.Every other point is acceptable but I could not agree with this when for the first time I found a story hero of the show.
I do not intend to start another HS vs ZGH when there is already one but couldn't stop saying.
Looking forward to HS.

Agree with the rest but I don't think ZGH was an average show, I think in terms of over all show TRP's it stands at number 2 second only to Humsafar, initial TRP's were less because Kashaf Zaroon hardly had any scenes and it was more about other characters but TRP's improved a great deal after they meet again as far as I can remember

Pyare Afzal is a unique case, the leads hardly have any scenes together but every episode is so gripping due to dialogues and characters are so different from anything we have seen so far

I mean people talk about ZGH being a different story, to some extend it is true but again it is another boy meets girl story while Pyare Afzal is actually unusual and dialogues are another level altogether

Please do not start ZGH v/s HS all over again!! We have had enuf of this.. And I dont agree that ZGH was an average show. Dunno about Pakistan but ZGH was one of the first Fawad's shows to be aired in India.. Which was aplauded brilliantly breaking all records. If Fawad has a strong fan-base in India, all thanx to ZGH. Ppl loved him as the chauvinistic, dominating Zaroon who although had flaws in him but still was lovable in his own way.. And neva I felt that Sanam overpowered him.. Zaroon as a character had its own charm and so did Kashaf! Sanam too enjoys a good fan-base in India all thanx to ZGH again. And It wud be very wrong to say that Zaroon-Kashaf didnt have any scenes.. There were sum beautiful scenes between them. The Button Scene, The Dinner Date Scenes and numerous others. To be very honest, Fawad as Zaroon is still till date one of my most characters. Very close to my heart. Love Zaroon Junaid. And talking about Fawad-Sanam, No one outshone the other. Infact Sanam was at equal footing wid Fawad.

Can i request one thing if this is a thread to appreciate your love for HS then why reference ZGH here..it is always necessary to bring ZGH whenever HS is discussed and vice verse😕 I like both shows as a stand alones and find it rather pointless to always reference each other whilst making posts on one show

Dont quite agree that ZGH was a mediocre show..There were flaws in direction but story and characters everything were compelling, even in repeat watch i never FF any of the scene Plus Zaroon played by FK is one of the finest performance i have seen from male protagonist even with a lesser scope and not even for a single moment did i find Kashaf/SS overpowering his character. They both complemented each other very well as characters and as actors. And for me if an actor with only 20-30% prominence in the show compared to his co-star can demand attention then i say the actor has done his job bloody very well...SO for me FK was as much as performer in the show as was SS..I dont think if any other actor wud hav played Zaroon then the show wud havbeen same

She is an actor of poweress and she proved that. And regarding Humsafar.. Well, Im yet to watch it. And Also I am loving Fawad as Asher Hussain. Please do not compare any characters wid others and Do not stat Humsafar v/s ZGH. Both the shows have been been very sucessful in Pak. As for ZGH is more rooted and more closer in Real life than Humsafar which appears as A Fairytale to me. And regarding the female characters and the actresses who played them.. I have always liked Sara aka Naveen more.. Cuz she played the Grey shaded Sara with power and fineese.. And its easy to play a positive character and be loved by all but Playing a negative character and still be loved is a thing.. And Naveen did just that.. Regarding Mahira, I lykd her more in the post-seperation scenes where she is the strong, poised Khirad as I've seen a few clippings.. So if you've opened a thread to discuss HS then please stick to it only. There is absolutely no need to drag ZGH or other showz..😊
