Arbaaz-Malaika in an ad after 14 years!

Arbaaz Khan and Malaika Arora will soon be seen in an ad for the Starcity Group, 14 years after they did the MR Coffee campaign together. The ad has already been shot.

Chemistry

Says Arbaaz, "We are associated with the Starcity Group as brand ambassadors and are promoting a particular product. We will kickstart their 1,000 acre development plan which is next to Aamby Valley in Lonavala. Starcity aims to rope in people from the entertainment world who at some stage want to live there."

Malaika adds, "I am nostalgic about the MR Coffee ad. That's how we met. Arbaaz looked so different and I looked like a child. Though we appeared in music videos (the Rajashris) and media events together, we never shot an ad again."

She says she is excited about this as they share a great comfort level on screen. "I can tell him if I don't like a particular shot of his. Recently, when we shot the song for Indrajit Lankesh's Shaadi Ke Side Effects, he was watching my shots and said he wanted to see how good I was at my job!"

Recently, Arbaaz's performance in Shootout At Lokhandwala was widely appreciated. "I loved his performance too," pipes in Malaika, while Arbaaz adds modestly, "I am happy that I got noticed in spite of the film's big cast. Next I will be seen in Hansal Mehta's Woodstock Villa. It's a stylised psychological thriller."

No fairy tale

so what keeps their relationship alive even after 14 years? Arbaaz says, "I know a lot of people feel ours is a fairytale romance, but the fact is there's a lot of love and respect for each other and our work.

It's not a joyride and like any normal couple we are constantly working at our relationship."

Mailaika says simply, "We have an angel watching over us. I would love to have another baby, but it will happen when the time is right. We have a mini Arbaaz in Arhaan and now I want a mini Malaika."
