Leena Yadav, who directed Shabd with Aishwarya Rai and Sanjay Dutt, is all set to direct Ash's father-in-law Amitabh Bachchan in Teen Patti.

While the director is currently into pre-production and is reluctant to speak about the cast of the film, it is learnt that the Big B will have to be adept at playing cards to do this part. "And I'm terrible with cards!" the Big B laments.

He has earlier played a cards whiz in Shakti Samanta's The Great Gambler in the late 1970s. So perhaps the Big B's co-star Arshad Warsi could help the Big B get the cards right?

Arshad chuckles, "Not at all! I can't play cards, nor do I gamble. But I can fake anything."

So maybe the duo can support each other in this faked gamble to the finishing line? Says Arshad, "I've waited really really long to do a film with Mr Bachchan. Though we've done an ad together we've never really shared screen space."

Not counting the unfortunate Zamanat, which no one wants to talk about.

The pack

Besides the Big B and Arshad, Leena intends to cast a group of youngsters in principal roles. "The audition is on," she says.

When questioned further, she says, "Right now, I don't want to say much about the film, but working with AB is a dream come true. I need to get over my awe of him before the shooting starts."

Incidentally, Bachchan played a double role of a gambler and a look-alike cop in The Great Gambler. Zeenat Aman and Neetu Singh were his co-stars.

Oh wow!!! I loved Shabd Completely(xcept Zayed Khan's overaction!) 😆 😆 😆 Ash and Sanjay were like fantastic! and the film too was great
