Heiii Ruby :)
Your posts are amazing, just makes one feel the depth of your understanding.
Coming to this post, I am glad that I didnt comment right away when I read it because after watching today's episode it makes even more sense.
Coming to Ishita and Raman, well both are poles apart. He treats people with wrath because he was treated like shit whereas She gives selfless love because she was never given one.
Both tied into an unconventional marriage and never expected each other to question their position in one's life but, destiny planned to question each other in hearts.
The major break through occurred during the Kuch Kuch hota hai track. Here for the first time Raman did something for Ishita, not because she is a good woman, or a dutiful daughter in law or amazing mother but his wife. The wife for whom it was necessary to understand that whatever is the dynamics of their relation, she does hold a major position in his heart. She was healed that day, or more conveniently began with the process of removing the scars of past.
The major frameshift happened when Sanjana came into picture. IIt was not the wounded wife talking to her husband but a Accepted wife authoritatively commanding that she does deserve to know whatever happened in his past. It is not about the number of girls he was with, it was about the darkness of his past she questioned.
All the tracks which happened made Ishita realize the goodness of Raman, accept with his anger, with his son, with his past, with his wounds but for Raman , he was attracted to lady with a selfless nature.
But Mani, just scraped few wounds which only and only Raman can himself heal but allowing Ishita tend them.

And I did mention in LU. The hospital scene Raman was Healed. He just needs a push to get away with the memories too.

I was wondering why is Ishita fasting when she obviously knows it is not good for her health. Just because she promised Toshi? but why? if Toshi had known that Ishita cannot fast would she love her any less? no..and yet Ishita is bending backwards to please her. And she bends backwards to please everyone...And i feel so so sorry for her. She does it as she craves acceptance and fears rejection..

lovely post👏
@bold while reading this her dialog in sat episode came to my mind "kitna bhi karlo kami rah hi jati hai "

thats what she tries everytime to go extra mile in fear of rejection , tries to fulfill her incompleteness by doing everything more than completely.

thanks for reading my post 😳...yes Ishita's OTT eagerness to please and Raman's unreasonable anger is irritating but I feel I can now see why they are that way 😊

One more beautiful post Ruby! And Aani, Swathi and Bhanu loved your responses. The reason I go looking for Ruby's thread is to be treated to such diverse views that help in completing the whole picture. And needless to say I'm never disappointed 😊
Anything I write is only going to be a repetition and not even going to stand up to what's already been expressed :) So I'm just going to limit myself to expressing my satisfaction with the way this track has been handled. Enjoyed last night's episode and tonight's episode will be in my list of top five episodes of YHM. Mani's purpose was finally disclosed and Ruhi, Raman and Ishita were beautifully integrated in the plot of the track. Raman's emotional upheaval though painful, was a treat to watch because of Karan Patel. After every episode there is an anticipation for the next one and this week promises to be a treat for all of us who love this show for it's depth and the characters. So here's to happy viewing for all of us :)
