When you give someone a Gaali - you are not demeaning them, you are demeaning yourself and insulting your parents by raising questions about your upbringing.

Today the way Gautam handled that situation was a textbook example of how a cool guy should behave in a situation like this. he did not respond, he did not throw a tantrum, he just made his point and then completely ignored the duo (Soni and Tanna).
