My review
Quite an enjoyable episode. This is the first time I am witnessing the way a marriage is conducted in India - definitely different from ours.
So glad that VR team has gone back to segments rather than one block. So we had basically two stories based in one building and with the hustle and bustle of wedding preparations. But the conflicts were quite intriguing. The one with Anaconda, Rani and ultimately Bhoomi put us through a rollercoaster of emotions, starting with annoyance, irritation and anger and ending up with satisfaction as the lines from Bhoomi came fast and furious and made so much sense. I am so glad that he has reformed. đ
I think Shanti Williams did nothing more than expected of her as her character is one dimensional. Evil, malicious, mean, petty, avaricious-overall a nasty witch. (I am still puzzled why she hates Rani so much. Could it be because she is married to her sakkalathi's son?) Anyway Bhoomi was the star of the show for me. Out of everyone there, he was the one who couldnt care less whether his mother or sister came to his son's wedding. For a minute there I thought that he might fall for her lies but thank God(and director) he didn't. Venu Arvind was superb. Really shone, that man.Wonder what's going to happen next. No doubt Ananconda Paati is going to blame Rani for this! But I am glad Bhoomi told Anaconda Paati off. He chose some very apt and appnopriate words. Brilliant acting by Venu. đ
Prabhu Deva look-alike gives me the creeps . This conflict is a bit predictable for me - I am hoping VR team will exercise their magic and make it an unpredictable one.
Ah, forgot to mention. Jyo did not listen to her mother. That was refreshing. Hope cracks appear between mother and daughter. (Yes Nalla manasu ennaku. L0L)
