Why she should feel cheated? Its an icing on the cake if your best friend loves you. If you don't love him its fine but could Ishani get a better lover than Ranveer who understands her, is a confidant, stands besides her, takes care and what not. If Ranveer was not her servant but a rich family friends son or a rich neighbour she had no problem

Her only problem was his being a servant in the house. (even if he was a servant of some other family she had no problem I guess)

If you get to know that a close friend of yours loves you in a romantic way, you might feel awkward or feel sad for him/her as you aren't being able to reciprocate your feelings simply because don't feel the way the other person does. But feeling cheated is an extreme reaction IMO.

Love isn't a sin. If you don't feel the sexual tension for your best friend but your friend does, you don't fire him, you probably distance yourself from him and reduce the closeness.

I think the root of her hatred towards Ranveer should have been Disha's so called molestation anyway.

Coming to the financial aspect. Yes, these days people do feel comfortable with those, who have a similar educational background and financial status. But then again sometimes you never know how friendships bloom but then for that to be converted to a life long commitment, I'm sure one would have second thoughts before totally committing themselves to a person weaker to them both on educational and financial grounds.
