The jealousy is somehow childish type , but I think , Mani appeared exactly at the moment when Raman started feeling something for Ishita , earlier Raman reacted when Ishita mentioned Subbu so he is not okay with Ishita's attention getting distracted to any other man ,and when he is confused with his own feelings for Ishita and wanting to spend time with her to make this issue of heart clear , this moment it is difficult for him to see his wife appreciating somebody else, kind of insecurity arises at this stage as Raman is yet to get Ishita's commitment (official 😆) that she loves him too

Raman has tasted betrayel once in his life so feeling insecure is normal.ishita praises Mani for each n every thing
I believe that no husband/wife could tolerate when their partner & whole family is openly praising another man.ishita should behave some more maturely and try to understand Raman's view

Actually he is getting mature thanks to Mani. :D he now knows his wife had n still has followers so he has become mature in his thinking towards his wife. He now knows he can't take her for granted anymore.

This jealousy track is childish and more importantly full of big bloopers. Firstly, there is no back link of Mani in the story. He is the best friend of Ishita and shares very good relationships with all other Iyers. But we never saw anyone of them mentioning his name up until now. As depicted, he's always there for Ishita but where was he when Ishita's facing her worst nightmare after Subbu broke their engagement? A best friend can't be present at good times only. Secondly, It was shown Ishita was rejected by many prospective grooms. In fact Mrs. Iyer was literally worried 24/7 to find a possible suitor for Ishita and now they are saying men were in line for her!! CVs should get their facts right before introducing a new character for the sake of drama.
