Shabbir Ahluwalia seems to have become an expert in doing negative roles after playing Rishi in Kahin To Hoga and the bad boy in Shootout At Lokhandwala. "My role of a lower middle class guy in Kayamath is doing well and is becoming grey from white." Recently he's been offered yet another negative role in Ekta Kapoor and Sunil Shetty's production Mission Istanbul.

The film will be directed by Apoorva Lakhia and is based on Osama bin Laden's terrorist network — Al Qaeda. The shooting will be in Istanbul and Mumbai and will start in October. Bobby Deol will play the lead. When asked whether he will focus on movies now that he is doing well, he says, "I will balance out both. TV and films. I agree with shabbo that the medium is not IMP, its the quality of the work that counts...as much as I am happy for him that his film career is shaping up, its sad that we will probably be seeing less of him in kayamath once the filming of his new movie start.
