First of all, hi guys, I'm Reina, and with lukewarm pride I can say, I have watched (sat through) all of Gul's shows till date. And for those of you who have done the same, you will know that despite everything, you will always be drawn to a new one with the same angry young man and bubbly girl love story. Alas, the beauty and the beast story is age-old and ever so tempting.
Now that my loyalty to Gul's shows has been established, I cannot help but also mercilessly critique them while continuing to watch them for reasons I cannot fathom. A LOT of things hit me, but one in particular took me by surprise. There is something called accuracy no? Gul has done muslim-themed shows before and they've not been too ridiculous on the rituals etc thusfar. But in last night's episode. Aarzoo is talking to the skies the night before eid, and lo and behold it is a full moon. Weird because the night before eid, Muslims across the globe crane their necks to see a glimpse of a crescent, but that moon was not just full it was HUGE😆. It would solve a lot of our problems if eid moon was that easy to sight.😆 I mean plotholes etc, I can handle, they are all inclusive in the Indian daily soap package and I have accepted that. But when it comes to religious matters, I hope they show a bit more prudence to adhering to rituals and facts. I expect a lot more though, and I will keep posting them. I feel bad starting my first topic on the forum on a negative note, but I couldn't help it. After sitting through GHSP IPKKND QH1 AND 2, itna toh hakk banta hai boss😆. Feel free to tell me I am insane to be pointing out such small things, or feel free to point out others that I might have missed. 😊
