The nation may have mourned when television's most loved character Tulsi breathed her last on Ekta Kapoor's 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi', but it looks like there's some good news for all Tulsi fans. TIMES NOW spoke to actress Smriti Irani on Thursday (July 12) and got as close to a confirmation as possible that a comeback may just be on the cards. "That's (return to 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi') something Ekta answers; its her perogative, not mine. I have instilled that faith and belief in myself that she's the boss when it comes to "Kyunki...'. So she answer's that question, not me," said Smriti Irani. That certainly sounds promising, but we're sure not too many will be surprised. According to a TIMES NOW poll conducted shortly after Tulsi's demise, 80% of viewers expected to see Tulsi back in her role again and 72% of viewers believed that Tulsi's exit was a pre determined move. It certainly seems like things are panning out that way. After all, Ekta Kapoor serials do have a way of bringing back the dead. With Smriti Irani not exactly going great guns with her new serial 'Virrudh', it looks like its time to move back to the mother ship. (By Amrita Puri) |
