Anybody watching this show? I caught a couple of episodes - it's pretty good. Harshad Chopra is a terrific actor - I loved him in "Tere Liye" and "Saubhagyavati Bhava." The rest of the cast is great too. So far, I really like the new girl playing the lead. I hate to admit that I'm jaded - as soon as a new show starts the first thing I wonder is how long it'll last and when the writers will start flushing logic, reason, intelligence and interest down the toilet. I guess I should just enjoy it while it lasts. 😊

There are obviously some dark, deep, unspoken secrets in that house...Sahir (coldly angry and calculating) and his mother (who appears to be very kind but I'm not sure if that'll last) seem to have a very formal relationship. The eldest son has a huge chip on his shoulder (he played Nikhat's evil husband on QH and was also in Ram Milaye Jodi), the eldest daughter-in-law is oozing evil (not sure about casting choice here, but it's only the beginning of the show so I shouldn't judge); the youngest son likes his booze a little too much - he's totally flaky and irresponsible but I think he'll turn into the polar opposite sometime and perhaps become Sahir's business rival...I wonder where is the father in all this? I also wonder if the wicked eldest bahu is somehow related to Arzoo's father's second wife (who is clearly evil too)? That would be an interesting twist.
I really like Harshad Chopra and Vibha Chibber. Both are fantastic actors. I'm so happy to see them both onscreen. The girl playing Arzoo is cute and endearing. I just hope she doesn't turn into a wet dishrag (a la Pragya, even though she is not a 4 lions character). I love her independence and spirit (without being a brat); at the same time, I love that she's not a goody two shoes - Arzoo is obviously flawed and human, but brave when it comes to taking chances and apologizing when she's wrong (she's a little bit of Khushi and a little bit of Zoya). I also hope Sahir doesn't turn physically abusive...I hope he's a little more like Maan Singh Khurana rather than Arnav Singh Raizada.

Okay, have tons of work to do...needed a fun break for a few minutes so writing soap opera fluff is a good outlet. Thanks readers and IF. :)

No not watching. Sony shows end very fast due to poor TRPs. Hence endings are rushed and weird . So I don't feel any point in watching.

Yes, I notice Sony shows end fast but from a narrative point of view, I actually like that...far less chance to inundate the show with BS...I found EK's "Tere Liye" miles better than her current "Pavitra Rishta" and one of the biggest reasons, at least IMHO, is duration - if you have a fixed number of episodes to tell your story, the writing is much tighter and of much better quality. Anyway, it's just my POV - obviously shows like PR have a huge fan following so I must be in the minority. :)

Love this show (so far anyway).

Can't wait until Arzoo's pathetic excuse for a father and his diabolically evil wife get what they deserve. I bet the son they are so arrogantly proud of having will betray them badly. It would be interesting if Arzoo pointed out the obvious - that her mother's so called "failure" to provide her father a son has NOTHING to do with Nausheen since anyone with an iota of basic education knows that the baby's gender is solely determined by the father!
On another note, what's up with that Psycho Bugs Bunny wannabe (aka Kurti Appa)? She's like a drunk with power, buck-toothed, modern day Maham Anga, no?

Sahir's look in the precap was priceless - do I detect a hint of discomfort and jealously? I think Zaki will become Arzoo's best friend down the road. I love Alvira's character so far. The tension in that family is palpable.
