Highway didn't do too well at the BO. Disappointed?
Even I am bemused with this. Indians watch films for entertainment and don't invest in them emotionally. I'm very proud of Highway. I wouldn't like any of my film to make Rs 60 crore in three days and then be forgotten.

The younger ones coming out seem very mature...even Shraddha in her recent interview said..that she would not want to play it safe..rather try different types of movies to grow as an actor!...good for them!...👏

Highway was amazing. It was one movie that really got to me emotionally, it didn't do well with the indian audience. It's a movie for film lovers, its a movie for someone who likes cinema, who likes to watch movies with messages. we all like masala films too, but the point is, a film with thought, deserves though, which the audience in India sometimes lacks giving, it wants to watch no-brainers over and over again. Don't get me wrong, I love those movies too because they are entertaining, but sometimes its interesting to watch movies that touch your soul. Because they inspire you. Highway is a movie that leaves you thinking, it gives you a liberating feeling. I loved that feeling, I would watch it again for that feeling. Amazing movie, wish it wins some awards.

What she meant is emotionally invest in characters while watching the film. Not like a random song fight romance dance type commercial film like most Salman Khan or Akshay Kumar movies.

Not that I expect Salman fans or any other BO obsessed fans to get it. You just keep counting crores.
