Amita Chandekar (Pooja of Kasturi) formerly seen in Sony's CID and Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, is dating her Kasturi co-star Karan Patel. Sources reveal that love blossomed on the sets and the two have been dating for over a month now.
A friend of Amita reveals, "Yes, there's definitely something cooking between Amita and Karan. They enjoy each other's company and are seen dancing at parties."
Interestingly, eyewitness accounts report that at Gouri Tonkk's birthday bash last month the two were even seen smooching. Since then, both Karan and Amita have been meeting off the sets and are in touch regularly.
When contacted Chandekar doesn't deny that she is fond of Karan and says, "Of course he's a very dear friend. But I wouldn't want to discuss my private life." However, she prefers talking about her work. "I am happy with Kasturi and that the show is doing well."
Amita's co-actors in Kasturi reveal that "its very clear that they are in love. Karan has even spoken to some of his close friends about it." Karan was unavailable for comment.
