It has been more than a month since Gautami replaced Smriti as Tulsi in Kyunki. Her character is not as aggressive as before and she manages to solve family crises in a calmer way. But one of the noticeable changes since Gautami has entered is that the onscreen chemistry between Gautami and Ronit (Mihir) has become effective.
Earlier with Smriti, there were hardly any holding hands or hugging. But now the bond between Mihir and Tulsi, which was there in the show in the initial stages, is again visible.

Nevidita Basu, Creative Head of the show, admits that there will more hand-holding scenes between Mihir and Tulsi. "Earlier also there were such kind of scenes in the script but Smriti was not comfortable doing it so we scrapped them.
Now Gautami and Ronit share a certain kind of comfort level, which is definitely helping us twist the story. Further people are also liking their on-screen chemistry."
Adds scriptwriter Mrinal, "There will be more emotional bonding between Mihir and Tulsi. Now we are going to show that they are the perfect couple and that they need each other more than ever before. It is true that Ronit and Gautami have a good on-screen chemistry."
In yesterday's episode, Mihir told Tulsi that he got his first contract for the catering business which both of them are starting and hugged Tulsi.
