Khoobsurat is set to be amongst the biggest grossers of 2014 in United Kingdom. The film will have done business of 375,000 by the end of its second week which will put it in fifth place of top grossers in United Kingdom this year.
It will be behind Kick, 2 States Jai Ho and Gunday only and with some more business likely from third week onwards it may also surpass the 424,000 of Gunday making it the fourth highest grossing film of the year. Kick is the only major grosser in United Kingdom this year as it crossed the 1 million mark.
Khoobsurat featured a Pakistani actor Fawad Khan in the main lead who probably has a good following in Pakistan which has translated in good business for the film in United Kingdom which has a huge audience of Pakistani origin. The film has also done huge business in Pakistan and it is the overseas market which has saved the film as final business should be around the $2.75 million mark. This is more than films like Entertainment, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, Hasee Toh Phasee and Highway.
