I think it is not true. India dont have such strong human right etc. where they kill a animal without any strong reason. Even zoo authority themselves declare on that day itself , that tiger will remain in that zoo only. As it is not his fault or a man eater , tiger just act as per his instinct.

Only thing better they should add fence etc. for preventing such incidents.

Wait how will that serve purpose killing the Animal?

Man is punished so that others dont follow suit but animal what is point?
