I love doing this. Because the show is good...except for the judging, but let's move on.
Akshay and the contestants enter - They enter on a sailboat. First time they're entering together. Different. That I like. And Akshay gives a foreshadow of what is to come. The only thing I didn't like was Rithvik saying that they didn't know the stunt. Puhlease. They were practicing last week! Stop that CVs!
Welcome dance - Ooh man this guy was awesome! I was riveted! He used the hoop so well and everyone was enjoying as well especially because they were using the D2D song again!
Today's challenge - Use the props as a dance floor. Another cool challenge. I just wish they would stop making it sound like the contestants didn't know about the challenge especially since they practice.
Card counting - This week there will be card counting and someone will get out. Akshay brings out those with the most red cards for Karan, Mayuresh, Amar, Rithvik, and Sayantani. Akshay adds that if anyone gets even one red they're going in the Tent of Shame. I'll tell you right now that Sayantani is going.
Emilie's performance - I just realized that I've been spelling her name wrong this whole time. Even the contestants are worried for her. I liked how this time they showed the contestants pointing out the problems and it wasn't Emilie herself. And as she is performing the contestants are worried for her. I just wish they didn't stop the music to play that danger music every time she did something daring. For a performance on just silk and a trapeze, Emilie was awesome. She did this slow contemporary style dance which was just very riveting. And that last fall was too scary, but a great ending. I don't get why they have to repeat 5 times though. We can see once. Akshay praises her to no end and the judges give her 2 greens bringing her total to 8 greens!
Rithvik's performance - Rithvik is next and as they show he has many problems with his aerial cube. But he's also practicing wearing glasses at many times and I say the same thing. If something happened he could have gotten badly hurt by them! And even for performance he wears bandages to cover himself in advance. His performance was rather interesting and something different. He wasn't just doing aerial, but also professional stunts with the box, which like Prince pointed out is hard unless you're a professional. I'm not happy with the prop he got because it's hard to use a box and dance, but I'm glad he got 2 greens bringing his total to 6 greens and 2 reds!
Emilie's audition - Ha! We were all so right! The slap was nothing more than an audition and Sanam was the director. Akshay pretended to slap her.
Sayantani's performance - Her prop is a cage and she is going to do a cabaret. Akshay reminds her that if she gets even one red she's going to the Mirror Room. I like that name better. Amar says quite realistically that she's related to the glamour world and she needs to become part of the dance world. Once again she is worried more about falling than dancing. Sadly she still hasn't understood that if you think that you're going to fall then that's bound to happen. Akshay starts dancing at one part. That was hilarious. I don't know. I'm a bit mixed on her performance because she was quite careful even though she said that she wouldn't be. I would give her a red for dare if it was me because there were parts where she wasn't as smooth as she should be. Akshay said that she might get 2 greens this time, but she gets a red from Francois. Yes! This brings her total to 4 greens and 4 reds! The interesting thing is that even in the Mirror Room she was busy wondering what Akshay would say about her performance instead of thinking where her performance went wrong.
Karan's performance - Sanam says that the prop is going to be a hard one because there is so much ability to do different things with so many bars and slides. I'm not sure which song Karan performed on. Never heard it, but I loved his performance. He really used the bars well to the song. Akshay says we saw something new but he did make one small mistake. Francois finds him out of sync a few times and notes the mistake and gives him a red and Sanjay found that there were problems in the execution and gave him a red as well. He's back in the Mirror Room! This brings his total count to 4 greens and 4 reds as well! Well that means that if Mayuresh and Amar get even one green then Karan and Sayantani will be one of the two to get out. I didn't see the dance mistakes, but the judges gave him two reds instead. I like that Prince said that he found Karan's performance better than Sayantani's. I did too.
Akshay in Mirror Room - I like that Akshay went into the room to talk to Sayantani and Karan to motivate them.
Amar's performance - Amar just tells Akshay about the last part of his dance and dedicates that to his father. That was absolutely touching. Akshay says that he gave the idea of landing in the water at the end. Akshay asks if he will do it and dares him to do it. Come on Amar take it on! They show Amar's rehearsal, which is the repeat from the XR last week. Akshay actually goes in a boat to watch. He really wants Amar to jump in the water. I'm not sure what movie the song is from, but I loved it and I loved it even more because Amar did a truly amazing performance on it and I especially liked how they added a shot of the judges nodding at each other at one point. And then to top it off he takes Akshay's dare on and goes into the water after thinking about it. OMG kudos to you man! Kudos to you! I love water and I would never have done that! The best was how all the contestants ran to the edge to see what was happening. It shows this friendship that you don't get to see in such reality shows. Amar says he can go to any length when he's challenged. Amar says he got hurt. Akshay: Toh bhaiyyon...aur behon...inko pani laga. 🤣 That is the highlight dialogue of the day. "Pani laga". 🤣 From now on I'm using that. Amar says that he has a phobia of water and the fear is gone now. Good job man! And to top it off he gets 2 greens! His total is 6 greens and 2 reds! (Note that they showed it wrong. I've been keeping tally and this is his correct total and even Sanjay noted that he got 2 reds.)
