Here is the riddle with some clues..😛

In at three, seemingly scary
Found light at the best of times they agreed

Power to me is vital for a being
Strength always on top of me

Resembling one
Dwelling like another
Cause of overlooking one by another

Now try and guess, who I am

The answer is definitely a creature not a thing..

In at three means that the answer has come third in something..

Anjali had guessed it as a Banshee and Akash guessed a Grindylow.. And they are somewhat close to the answer..😉

Kappa was the third creature the students of Lupin's DADA class studied.. It was a creepy water creature

This came into light because this was taught by Lupin who was the best DADA teacher they had till then according to the students..

A Kappa feeds on the blood of human-beings.. Blood is vital for every being
Strength always on top of me
Kappa has a water-filled depression on TOP of his head.. This water is the source of its strength

Resembling one
A Kappa looks like a scaly monkey
Dwelling like another
It lives in ponds or rivers like a water animal
Cause of overlooking one by another
Lupin had said that Kappas live in shallow water in Japan while Snape overlooked this fact and said that Lupin was wrong since these were found most commonly in Mongolia

Answer : Kappa
