What a crash from the last season.
Bigg Bore 8 hasn't had a very encouraging first week to say the least. I hate the ''house''. WAY too claustrophobic and the whole plane and garden look freakin' dirty!!!!! Usually the house makes you want to visit it, but this season I'd rather stay far away. It's a complete wreak. Feel really sorry for the housemates for having to put up with this.
Although actually... I don't really feel for them. Most of them are total bores.
The Good Ones
*In a surprising twist of events, Upen Patel is now my most favourite. He's easily the most sorted person out there. Level-headed, mature, intelligent and eloquent. Who would have thought. I hope he doesn't go the Tanisha way (Excellent in the first week; dreadful subsequently!!).
*Karishma Tanna comes next in my list. She's total eye candy and is reminiscent of Gauhar in some ways (dominating, authoritative, focussed and determined). Her honesty will win her fans outside the house and enemies in the house.
*Soni Singh! Initially I had my doubts about her, but she's likeable. A very ''real'' person. She's playing the game well, seems to be staying herself and is pleasant. She's bubbly and at the same time sees through people and doesn't take shit. I like that.
The Ones who I'm Confused About
*Arya Babbar: Hmmm... He does look like Himesh and does act like Armaan, but he's a much more toned down version. He's chalaak, indulges in back bitting, gossips and looks the kind who's going to plot his way through the game - but he's entertaining enough. Thankfully as of now he's doesn't grate on my nerves and had his genuine moments, so I'm curious and confused about him.
*Sukriti... OKAY. I just hated her drama queen reaction. There was no need to cry over what Upen said. That was ridiculous and the reason Upen nominated her. He probably felt she was trying to get footage and sympathy, but that kind of backfired on her. HOWEVER, that aside, she's actually sweet. I wonder why she got so many votes and feel bad for her. As Karishma said, she might just bounce back, so I'm watching out for her!
**Praneet... just to make sure, I'm talking about the Mahabharat guy who didn't get his luggage. Started off as dull/annoying and ended the week showing his true self, which is worth appreciating. I'm starting to like him. He doesn't get scared for standing up for himself and has tremendous patience. I hope he continues this way.
The Non-Existant Ones
*Minnissha Lamba... first off, what happened to her? Once a Ranbir Kapoor/Imran Khan co-star. Ouch. She's been abnormally THANDA. No spark whatsoever and hasn't left much of an impression. As of now, it looks like she'll play the boring diplomatic card... which may take her forward like Tanisha, or she may just crash the way Shilpa did.
*Natasha... TOTAL EYE CANDY but damn, WAKE UP. DO SOMETHING. ANYTHING. She's not going to last long if she continues this way. Forget getting to the heights Ellie did.
*Puneet... Again, to make sure I'm talking about the Secret Society Member 2. Yawn.
The Unlikeable Ones
*Deepshika... why the hell is she sounding like a B-grade version of Urvashi? The latter was my favourite but Deepshika somehow manages to annoy me. She's too loud, takes herself too seriously...
*The other secret society guy No 3. He needs to shut the hell up. And why does he act like he has something stuck up there? It seems to me that he's trying to be someone he's not.
*Sonali... has been getting a lot of flak, and I'll just add to that. I mean there is something about her that makes you see beyond her looks, in a negative manner. It could be her voice, her annoyed facial expressions, the vibes she gives... but she just doesn't look friendly at all.
The Super Annoying Ones
*Gautam. He may have the looks but he's mental. He came across as a psycho today when he was fighting with Praneet. Bad team player. Hooligan. This one is all set to create trouble.
Diandra - cheap, attention-seeker who doesn't give a damn about anyone but herself and her newly found ''friend''. That whole thing is just so fake that it makes me dislike her and Gautam.
Sushant makes me cringe throughout the show. It's getting highly uncomfortable watching him.
From the nominees, here's who I want to get eliminated, in order:
1. Natasha - waste of space in the house
2. Sonali - doesn't seem like she'll add much
3. Gautam - potential trouble maker = entertainment!
4. Sukriti - potential dark horse!
