Veer is cursing Vaibhavi for saving his life in the precap- maybe because Vaibhavi has shown kindness to him and its a favour/ maybe he has no will to live. But we saw how Vaibhavi looked after him, took care of him like a child, was genuinely scared for him in those last minutes. This care, this compassion, this nurturing is what Veer actually needs. So that all the bitterness and all the pain gets cured , if not healed.
If he would have seen Vaibhavi's face when he was unconscious , he wouldn't have had the heart to say all those cross things that he did in the precap.
As for Vaibhavi, she is definitely looking beyond Veer's projected darkness - and yes, she did feel a spark of attraction for him- when he was quiet, sleeping, harmless, vulnerable and not howling at her. But of course, Veer will give her no chance to think in that direction as he will start snarling at her once he is back in his senses. Wounded people often see compassion as a beggar's bowl.
Title? Its true. Vaibhavi and her pure spirit is the promise of light in Veer's life.
