This is actual brain drain!Studying at institutions like IIT-IIM at subsidised fees on the Government's expense and then wasting all that education by doing something completely different!😆Have any of you read his compilations of essays, 'What young India wants?'...Thats actually far better than any of his fiction books he has written till date!

I loved the five point someone book (which was good) but then I read one night at call center ... pathetic book.
I have not read any other book of his and neither have I watched any of his films other than 3 Idiots. So, I can only talk about the fact that I understand how bad he must have felt when he wasn't given due credit for 3 idiots. Contract or no contract, the writer should be given his due .. no wonder there is a dearth of good stories in bollywood because not many people want to become writers.. who would want to put years of hardwork into a script and then see producers/directors/hero/heroine become the richest and famous while leaving the poor writer to die an unknown death? Do hero/heroine really contribute more to a film than a writer (who is the real base of the film)? .. It's just that hero/heroine are more visible to the audience but the writer should at least get his share of recognition and even royalty. That is only fair.
Don't think CB is any great of a writer but well he writes for the simple minded youth and the older ones who don't mind reading a light hearted book. Not every book has to be at Shakespeare's level .. some people just want to read the simple literature .. and then the way he writes connects to the Hinglish speaking people. Whatever it maybe .. his stories/films are any day better than the typical masala overloaded 100-crore targeting mass crap.
So .. more power to CB and hope his next book does well .. the concept looks really good.
