Its Prof. Raos 60th birthday and vardhan wanted to make it special for him as it was his first birthday after he recovery. Vardhan planned to have dinner party at his house and invited his dream team and Maya. Maya was prof. Rao's one of favourite and close student and for Maya too he is just like father.
Everyone was in party except Maya as she was stuck in work. Vardhan was waiting for her when bell ranged.
Maya: sorry... I had meeting.
Vardhan: that's ok come fast dad is waiting for you from long time.
Maya came in and said," Happy birthday sir"
Rao: you are late. I don't like late comers.
Maya: I am sorry sir. Was busy.
Rao: it's ok. What have you bought for me?
Maya: what should I bring for 60 yrs old man??!!
Rao pulled her ears playfully and said," 60 yrs haa..."
Maya: sorry sorry. Here is your gift.
Rao started telling dream team stories about his work, Maya, vardhan, etc. to dream team and maya was helping vardhan in setting dinner table.
Everyone left. Maya was last to leave. Vardhan offer her to drop and went to drop her.
vardhan came back home and asked his father," Dad, you still up?"
R: yes. Don't feel like sleeping lets have drink come on.
Both father and son were still in balcony for drink and started to chat.
R: so?
V: so what?
R: She is nice girl.
V: I know. I was wrong about maya never knew what she was going through. But now I am happy to see her smiling.
R: I never said maya. And you are happy seeing her smiling??
V: not like that. She is nice so I...
R: I'm your father and I know you. Being with maya makes you happy. I have seen that and I know you like her. In fact you love her.
V: Dad...
R: come on son. Neharika is gone. She is past. Maya is present don't let her go, make her your future. She is best. Nobody understands you better than maya. Don't you realize so much have changed for good after maya came to your life??!!!
Vardhan started thinking and realizing whatever his father said is so right.
Vardhan now started thinking of maya. He realised how she was there with him during dream teams tasks, how he miss her when she is not around, her smiling makes him happy from inside, being with maya makes him forget all his problems and sorrows. But does maya feels the same for him? Should he tell her? What if she rejects his love?
