It was a good 2nd episode :).

It offered further insight into Sahir's Character. If I had to define him in a single word, Black will win.

He is carrying a burden of his daagdaar(blemished) past. Maybe a black spot of his life. The Daag.

He wears only black, writes with black, eats only blackened toast. He doesn't like colorful, succulent and juicy mangoes, because he likes hard , bitter and black stuff.He has seen darkness and can be at peace with darkness around. He turns away every color and seeks black and white.

He has no desires, he is a destroyer, the ruthless shark finds soothing pain in destruction.

There is darkness within him, he can relate to it. This darkness will be short lived, for after every dark morning comes a bright day. Aarzoo will bring light and colors to his life.

The wishes ; 2nd sister asks for herself, changes dress, has aspirations for herself, she had an I in her wish. The youngest sister had an I initially which she turned in her. Arzoo had them in her wishes.

So Zara will be paired with Sahir's brother as rain Ki wishes will come true.

Aarzoo enjoys small pleasures in life, like the rains and brightly colored mangoes.( balti main bhigo Kar baarish main Aam khana, <3). She has dreams and the will power to realize them. She seeks colors...

Their past must be connected. Aarzoo has daddy issues so most likely he also has daddy issues... And their stories are linked in the past. Something happened in Lucknow years ago that led to today. Similar circumstances and past ... Yet they turned out different. She is colorful, full of life and he has confined himself to black and white.

He can't say NO to his mom. He respects her.

His mom is searching for something, a talash for something...

A DIL? While she will chose Arzoo as a fashion designer , little does she know that her search for DIL also ends here.

HC is looking good as SAC. I want to know the what made him so bitter and dark?

SP has a lot of potential ... And Gul happened to her... I see a very bright and colorful future... No pun intended.

I don't think he's "black", per se. The man seems to be living in a constant state of anhedonia. It's just the ebb and flow of emotional well being and the delicate sine wave has simply taken a plunge for the past year or ten for him. He'll come around, sooner or later.

He's course correcting with consumerism/materialism but that's not what he needs (Cliche and all, but he just needs the damn girl. We have to wait a while to see that happen, though).

Yes He is not Black but he likes darkness. Obscure is another word that comes to mind.

He has to come around. Arzoo will become his bina maangi hui Arzoo come true.

Translation: his unasked for wish come true. He is at the bottom of the sine curve and the only way is up now.

He wants to win at any cost. He wants to prove something. So lady Nutella are you in?

I think darkness is the wall he has build around himself to protect him from emotions because something bitter that happened told him emotions hurt. So this is his defense mechanism ... Mangoes r sweet it is hard to eat a mango and not feel the sweetness, rains wash away everything making it all look fresh, its hard to not feel refresehed ... He hates both because he does not want his defense breached and go back to where he is vulnerable. And burnt toast again is part of that biterness. It is also possible mangoes and rain remind his of someone ... Something

I didn't mean to say that he is Black. 😊

He wants to define himself by black.

And I agree with your points.

He wrote the word Daag on a paper.

This has become a survival skill for him.

Would love to figure him out as his layers are taken down one by one... Along with arzoo's knots.

I would say clinically depressed too, if I wasn't so inclined towards sociopath.

Jokes apart, he doesn't need the ultimate path of enlightment to guide him right. He just needs a purpose to propel himself forward, and I do see how Arzoo could beautifully align everything from there. Until then, he's floating adrift.

You can call it irritatingly equanimous or debilitatingly free, but some money and a whole nest of hair doesn't make you immune to your own neurochemistry. The guy is plain depressed; perhaps not in the quintessential "down in the blues sense", but more so with regards to his emotional paralysis.

Same here. Gul and the symbolisms.

Maybe he blames himself for something that happened in the past.

Daddy issues must be there.

But I am intrigued.

This has the feels of a tight script.

Hopefully she will deliver this time.
