Katrina was on Night Out on NDTV with Hrithik & Sidharth and was asked about the TOI cleavage post and she answered:

Journalist: "Lots of talk lately in the media about women especially women empowerment and things like that. Especially with the latest controversy over Deepika Padukone. Is there anything you would want to say to that Katrina? Is there any particular opinion you have on that?"

"Without saying anyone is right and anyone is wrong, cause I haven't honestly exactly gotten into the details of it, but from whatever little I see, I do think that anything trying to exploit or show something in an unpleasant manner or make a spectacle of it is not necessary I think it is avoidable. It's slightly a different example but there's many times where a girl like you(the journalist in front of her) are wearing a dress and is on stage, get up to go somewhere then some photographer tends to be lower than the stage and they'll click a moment and maybe you your shorts or something beneath your dress is visible and then circle that out and put it on newspapers and online, and that I think can be avoid it."

Journalist: "Yeah we saw you stating at Bang Bang Song Launch to not take such pictures from such angles..have you become more conscious about it after the TOI post?"

"No, I have been conscious about this since Dhoom Machale Dhoom song launch event because such a thing happened to me then. I do think it would be nice for me not to have to say that "Don't shoot pictures from unflattering angles". But I would also like to say that there are certain photographers who actually will tell you if there is angles which are tricky, they do kind of you know *shake their hand* like a sign to you, and I really respect that. So it would be really nice if we actresses don't have to request for such pictures not being taken. It's basically a case about respecting each other and that's it."

Katrina is really dignified and mature. I love how she doesn't take advantage of this situation even though the controversy is recently really attached to DP who Kat is not on good terms with, yet Katrina didn't take it in her advantage and didn't show deepika in bad light.

But then again it's Katrina, she won't make comments like "Be careful" she is not bitter like someone else!

Great response and I totally agree with her, it's happening for a long time with several actresses and it needs to stop AND also we need to stop generalizing all photographers, not everyone is despo to click such unflattering pictures.

Again, Katrina has proved her dignity unlike other actresses who often lower themselves to badmouth each other. She always stays humble and dignfied and although I don't think she is a good actress, it makes me respect her as a human being, something I can't do with Deepika after all her nasty remarks about other actresses continuously.

I didn't hear any time deepika say bad about any other actress except katrina regarding Ibiza pictures. Later she clarified in kwk that was misquoted.

WOW Either you are full of hatred or you completely in some how managed to read it weirdly wrong, I wonder how that is even possible.

What she meant is after what happened with her at dhoom machale dhoom did she start getting conscious that there are photographers who click such pictures and make full circles and before that she wasn't aware.

At the Bang Bang song launch event she requested EVERYONE TO NOT CLICK PICTURES FROM UNFLATTERING ANGLES!

She in fact clearly states: "I wish that it happens so that we don't have to request photographers to click such pictures and they automatically stop clicking such pictures of us without telling them".

Your hatred for Katrina is on a really high level...

Oh this Deepika jaap or chant to put their saint Katrina n a pedestal is getting very boring.😊

It is other actresses who have been bad mouthing or shit shaming Deepika whenever they get a chance. Katrina issue also she said that stars should be careful but it was blown out of text.

Ok, what do u expect Deepika to do? Should she worship the girl who snatched her boyfriend away, lied about it for years and now after five years he is her soul mate?? Don't think so.
