I was always interested in watching BB because of the variety of characters it had. Always loved understanding human nature when it was confronted with other characters.
In past, BB had people from variety of life. It had contestant who had trouble past like Rahul Mahajan, Monica Bedi, Aseem Trivedi, Anita Advani etc. Contestant with sporting attitude like Navjot Singh Siddhu and Sangram Singh. Contestant who were kind of overshadowed by their family image like Tanisha n Armaan and few others who were very strong headed like Gauhar etc. Show always had contestant who once in their life were quite popular and held good positions.
But sadly this time around, while show has tried to follow same pattern of contestant but somehow all the contestants lack variety of characters. All of them are strugglers with no glorious pasts. No past means no ego clashes or clash of characters.
In my opinion this time around, BB will not be that successful as it was in BB7. It will only have normal bitching and nothing new to offer.
