I don't know...I just looked her up - looks like she has considerable leeway and leadership at Bombay Times- she is a Managing Editor there- - it's an entertainment - paid news rag, but she has overextended her clout here- way out of line from the mother ship - not that TOI is a model of journalistic integrity!

Yup😆😆...but an article...saying Deepika's Cleavage Show...is low even by the standards of a C grade publication forget about TOI..

Exactly...it wasn't even a big issue..The video was shot and uploaded by some other company in 2013. All TOI had to do was accept it as an error by the media handler and apologise to DP...

Are they now gonna post videos of wardrobe malfunctions and other such cheap videos on YT too? Is this what journalism has become? How about a video on underarm hair of top actresses? or bottom hair of the Khans? And then they can defend that too

Exactly...even a website like our own IF would think million times before posting any such video here or on youtube...its only small production houses and channels who make and post such videos... their cameras would zoom at awkward places and then it becomes the headline for their video😕

Seems like TOI has completely lost it . It will be hard for TOI to redeem themselves. They should have apologized for their demeaning headline but nah they called it a compliment and now another article to defend their pathetic title. Now it does not matter whether Deepika's tweet was for publicity or not...TOI's unethical and unprofessional attitude will backfire on them big time.

In any case it is a win win situation for HNY and lovely!

Why is this shit being dragged to such extremes. I'm pretty sure people have seen and noticed Deepika's "cleavage" before this whole fiasco occurred. Such ridiculous crap over and over. 🥱

I wouldn't be surprised if this was all a PR stunt by DP and her team. I mean she obviously needs something to stay in the news at all times. If not for her film, her boobs.

And TOI is so dumb. They have to go on further to make a whole damn article on it justifying their behavior. Thats only gonna affect their company. As always, Deepika will be painted the victim 'saachai ki devi' Gopi Vahu

The never-ending saga. As much I give props to Deepika for standing up for herself, some sectors of the media are really taking it too far.

But then again, I guess it's good in that it opens people up to the conversation and people start discussing invasion of privacy, women's agency, rape culture, protection, etc. It's not really a bad thing, but they need to move away from BW and focus on the normal woman that face this everyday and don't get the support. It'd be nice if Mumbai DNA would cover that time to time as well.
