that was a territory they had not crossed as yet ... it was like the kiss ... that was a no zone as yet ..( but just for now )
But SHE DOES NOT MOVE FROM HER PLACE ... she still sits in front of him... if u read my last 2 posts i mentioned ..this woman will eventually take the lead in this love lore .. the moment she figures her crap out ..
I loved how he moved her away to take the towel .. it was a small gesture .. but now touch for them was normal .. they are comfortable with each others physical proximity ... a lovely indicator ...

Now lets be categorically clear .. no amount of long posts or lovely words will let u off the hook .. WHERE IS THE DULCET UPDATE GIRL .. 😳

@Bold red
Exactly when animals needs to mark their territory they piss on the area during a duel 😆

Well what I mean to say is its amazing how things have moved from verbal duels to now physical duels in Ishra's case. They r moving onto a different territory altogether.

From "Touch me not" to "come baby Touch me touch me "😉 Touching is also a form of expressing love.

Sometimes some words don't touch ur heart as much as the real touch can do wonders. 😆 N i am loving this touchy feely phase of Ishra now.

🤣

Loved it .. sorry can't be lucid after reading this ... 🤗

Thank U
Awww .. i know it happens so often with me as well .. trying to post something & then IF goes kaput .. ugh 😡

Well what to say its in their title track ... Pal pal badhe yeh hai mohabbatein ... it will be a slow progress into love ... See these 2 are 2 mature beings ... if they were shown as 20 somethings in their first relationship .. then the love, acceptance of love the consummation all would've happened by now ..

But these 2 are matured .. they have seen the bad side of life .. they have been badly beaten at the hands of love .. for them it will be a slow progression ...

for us as a viewer . its more fun na .. we get more & more sexy scenes 😉

First there was no denying of the passion/desire that had transpired between them. Then he told her that this moment was not to prove a point and make her enter the KKHH club but it was meaningful, something that they should both privately cherish, it was for them alone...
He brought up her perception of him as 'insensitive', 'rude' and said he will continue to be like this only. To me it was again to tell her to look past the facade, look deeper, don't stop at face value and misread me. The Raman who Shagun remembered the night before was a young Raman. A naively and innocently in love/infatuated Raman, kind of cheesy. The Raman of current days is a redefined one, he is more mature, has known the bitterness of life and love. He is no more openly romantic but that doesn't mean he doesn't love, that there is no desire. Raman of today doesn't express love the same way he used to. His relationship with her is completely different.

Aeryn,

Very well said!😊

****EDITED --- PART 2 ---- AM TOO TIRED AND SLEEPY NOW SO MAY COME BACK WITH ANOTHER EDIT OR POST ON WHAT I ACTUALLY INTENDED TO WRITE ... 😳😳

Ruby ... as promised ... am here to dive into your beautifully carved world of Ishra.

I wrote in my quick edit that I never knew that Indian Telly World had come this long way. I was actually and frankly surprised at the sheer depiction of this scene.

It bowled me with its brilliant depiction of sensuality and maturity in one single frame. When we talk about mature content in a visual medium, most of us end up mistaking the mature content as visually explicit content. However, maturity can also be maturity of content, maturity of thought or maturity of subject.

Kudos to the makers to bring in the above mentioned factors in this series. I simply loved the way they have shown the progression of Ishra relationship. You know, the usual road taken up in a normal track is a jealousy track followed by a breakdown and consummation. CVs used the same ingredients however tweaked their quantities and the end result was an overwhelmingly brilliant recipe.

Honestly, as soon as I had seen the precap scene on Monday where Raman had overheard Ishita's conversation ... my heart had done a somersault that definitely something is going to happen.

I was extremely happy that Raman will be shocked by this wife's revelation and he will try and solve this misunderstanding. The question was how. The next day we had the teaser of dance scene and my doubts were confirmed that Raman did prove his romantic side. I really couldn't wait for the episode to know how he initiated the thought ...

To say that I was floored will be an understatement. Vandu and Bala. The normal couple with normal love, normal problems, normal roadblocks, Husband forgets the marriage anniversary and then is desperate for damage control. And who pitches in to help. The man who is need of as far as his own relationship is concerned. A beautiful party, a surprise, a family gathering is organized and cute moments are shared (Well ... Dori scene withstanding).

Some people may think that the entire scene was to show Shagun's jealous act, however, in my POV, it was to brilliantly depict the contrast between a normal couple and Ishra. It was a masterstroke of the realization track when both of them are jolted about the fact their relationship is incomplete. Something is indeed missing.

Ishita's dialogues about Raman that he is khadoos and insensitive without a single bone of romance in him was a shocker for Raman to say the least, on top of it, she has no qualms of admitting this in front of her own sister in the presence of entire family. Realization for Raman.

The next question is to bring the same thought in Ishita's mind. Remember, tit is even worse in her case because she has long ago accepted defeat to the fact that she is a half woman unworthy of any attention. In fact, she is not only a defeated woman; she has long made peace with that fact and has accepted this. She is now a state of numbness. No wonder she brings in Shagun and makes her sleep in Raman's bed. It does not affect her. She needs a bigger jolt, get a shocker which brings her out of this numbness and realize the incompleteness of her life.

Shagun. Who better than her to show the mirror to Ishita. Someone, who not only claims to share everything with Raman, something which Ishita obviously lacks, but also openly throws it on her face. With Ishra marriage, the rejection spree eventually stopped for Ishita and in time she found solace in her new found relationship and companionship thereby burying the desire of a woman somewhere deep down.

Thus, the brilliant scene where she is mocked and demeaned by her husband's ex-wife in front of her husband, her entire family, inside her home, her so called abode where she consider herself to be the safest. Shagun shakes the very ground Ishita is standing on. Another rejection for Ishita, only this time it is worse because she realizes her husband does not find her worthy to be a woman and in earlier times she could still console herself that may be she will find someone who will treat her better, this time she does not have a choice. She has accepted this life and this is her fate.

It damages her. It breaks her apart. The lost look of Ishita was a giveaway. The woman finally accepts her life is incomplete and is reminded of the fact that she is half a woman as per her with no future. Her husband will never share what he had with his ex-wife.

Brilliant.

And now comes the scene which is etched in the memory of every YHMian forever. Remember, mature subject, mature people. In a normal marriage, what does a man do which makes his wife feel on top of the world? He appreciates her, he desires her, and he makes her feel beautiful.

Raman, a man on a mission, eventually understood that he needs to clarify the misconception of his wife by taking the first step. He first gives a lame excuse and pulls Ishita for a long drive in night so that he can spend some time with her. ALONE.

Pause at the scene when Raman eventually stops the car. While Ishita's look is all defeated, Raman seems to going through some inner battle, albeit only for a moment. He finally sighs and starts the conversation. He asks her whether she has ever danced in the rain ... let loose of herself. He makes sure that he does not end up evoking any bitter memory for her knowing her bruised past.

And as soon as he gets the assurance, he immediately makes his next move. First, he assures his wife that he is going to do this for her. Only her. The dialogue, "Mai bhi to dekhu mai vakayi me khadoos aur insensitive hoon." This is for Ishita. Not to prove anything to Shagun or anyone else.

I was amazed by the brilliant acting by KP. His voice modulation, his eyes ... Woaah. The first part where he asks her whether she has danced like this ... it is the softer version of RKB talking to his wife, the moment he steps out of the car and says this dialogue and then the soft Aao as he offers his hand to her is the caring husband who reassures her.

And bang on, as soon as she is out of the car, his eyes do all the talking ... His eyes are full of desire and appreciation. He wants to awaken the sleeping woman inside his woman so he pulls her into a hug, does an extremely intimate act of opening up her hair and looks into her eyes. Look at Ishita's stance. She tries to evade his advances more than once but he keeps pulling her back until she finally succumbs to her own desires and starts to live the moment. Remember it is the same Salsa, only this time, neither it is to prove a point to Shagun in front of the entire family like in Galiyan, nor it is to portray a normal relationship in front of his daughter like in Banjaara ... this time it is just for them. No barriers, No pretenses, only them.

I am so glad they stopped right before the kiss or later settled in their own respective places ... the bed and the couch. As you rightly said, this moment was for healing. This moment is only to make her realize that she is indeed a woman and a complete woman.

If this scene was brilliant, the follow up couldn't have been better. The balm scene ... Ishita says ho gaya while reminiscing her MOMENTS with Raman ... a woman's touch ... a woman's blush ... a woman's acceptance. Ho Gaya .. DT's expressions were absolutely bang on.

And then my favorite scene of the episode. Har baat ka dhindora nahi peeta karte. Some moments are meant to be cherished between couples. Awww ... took me back to the scene where he says that we will make our own memories ... new memories ... their first intimate memory ... the inside the bedroom story ... I was bowled over by this scene ... sheer perfection.

No wonder Ishita Bhalla gets jealous as soon as she gets to know that Sanjana was a part of Raman's life once. She not only turns her room upside down, but fights with him, gets angry from him, mops sitting all alone ... all signs of ... a JEALOUS WOMAN and a WIFE. The same woman who brought Shagun into their bedroom is jealous because of a hint of unconfirmed past in her husband's life ... JJ

I feel like singing ... kya kya karwayein ye Mohabbatein ...

Coming to my earlier comment about the maturity of Indian Telly World ... what me super happy was probably it was the first time ever that I could actually connect with a sensuous scene in a serial. It did not look artificial, not from acting perspective but from the content's perspective. The reluctance and acceptance was shown absolutely perfectly and the follow up scenes were absolutely brilliant. I am too tired right now and finding it hard to type... may be when I get fresh I will do a fresh post on the maturity of the subject ... this is what makes me glued to this series more than anything else ... the actors, setup, CVs .. everyone comes second ...

Phew ... ending my Ramayan with this. If you do doze off reading this as u find them a little incoherent ... it is totally normal because I am half asleep while doing this ... but the sheer brilliance of this episode was making me itch to unreserve this piece for two in a row now ... couldn't control it any longer 😳😳

Loved reading the Ramayan Bhanu 😳 Your response had me hooked and made sure I read it allthe way through!
I have always enjoyed posts by Redwine and Ekpaheli and always marvelled at their perception. They beautifully connect the dots and make the covert, well..,,overt :) I may not agree with them all the time but their posts always give us some food for thought. And usually the reason I do not respond is because responders like you pen words so beautifully that my replies would be redundant. Same goes for this post. I agree with everything you've written. IshRa's progression has been shown so well that these are times when you feel proud to be so emotionally connected with the show. The rain dance was perfect. It was a private moment between two battered souls who do not need anyone else to witness that. And again Raman's dialogue in the end to keep that moment to them was again a testament to the sanctity he has for this relationship. A lovers world should be have some moments that are special. And not be flaunted publicly. Again that's how Raman would like to see Ishita different from Shagun. Where one does everything for appearances and the other one does what is right but it stays private, granting it the respect and sanctity it deserves.

Honestly .. for me more than the dance it is this moment .. the spur of the moment thot .. but whats more see the contrast .. each & every memory which was spoken of was romantic yes .. BUT not a single one was wrapped in CARE .. the way this was .. yes it was romantic .. yes it was sensual . .yes there was desire ... But the question on "HAVE U DANCED iN the RAIN BEFORE" ..& the way he slips it in .. "like normal people" ... it was a stroke of pure genius ... what a beautiful way for him to ask on whether this would recreate a bad memory ... & the utter possessiveness .. I WANT TO BE THE ONLY ONE WHO U WILL LET URSELF LOOSE WITH ..

Yes the dance was what will probably stay with many coz of its length & sheer sensuality .. BUT TO ME AS A WRITER .. I THOT this was simply brilliant ... I could've hugged the maker for this thot .. what incredible characterisation of RAMAN ... & now when u sit back & see her anger at him ... his frustration SPEAKS MUCH MUCH LOUDER To u ...

This is called layered story telling .. a small nuance .. but what an impact .. actually think about it .. for a lay viewer the dance was enuf to titilate ... but if u delved deeper .. then the layered meaning gets u flat ... i guessed at the LU . that not many would get the HEALING part of the tale .. its only natural for one to fall for SEXY . & leave behind EMOTE .. but to understand the progress & understand the ANGER of this track .. & its final culmination one had to appreciate this small DIALOG .. "HAVE U EVER DANCED IN THE RAIN"

I am so so so glad u wrote about this ... i totally loved this ...

I am totally with u .. this guy is hitting one out of the park with every scene ... he is totally committed to his role .. he has got inside the skin of RAMAN .. so much so that sometimes he brings in such elements which may be part of KARAN PATEL the man to RAMAN .. he is brilliant in DRAMA ... very gud with action ... BUT this guy is KILLER IN ROMANCE .. its his shy smile .. but the mischievous twinkle in the eye ... When u look at this guy first cut . its difficult to think him in a romantic parlance .. BUT whoa he blows u away with his intensity ...

The dance .. the emote .. the smile .. he took this one away by many a mile ..

And then my favorite scene of the episode. Har baat ka dhindora nahi peeta karte. Some moments are meant to be cherished between couples. U know the moment i saw ur post ... i was like Whoa she wins hands down with this one .. + the scene had passed by .. but as i started to read ur post .. i got caught into the plot of it .. i could visualise & interpret each & every nuance ... & when it ended .. i was like "KAAFI CHOTA THA" ... thats how involved i was in it ..

Needless to say i loved it ..
Many a post has captured the sheer romance of the moment .. the sheer sensuality of the moment .. but not many have caught on to the deep emotion behind the moment .. the way ur post does ..

Love u for this babe .. & THANX A TON ...

Like always Amazing post Ruby! 👏...and some amazing replies by others too ( special mention; Aani 👍🏼) . Pretty much everything has been said here...I know i'm late but I wanted to share my blah blah version too 😳😆

IshRa dance was HOTNESS, PASSION and so much more!! never seen such beauty on Indian television. DivAn was fab!..and ofcos the direction, writing, everything else too!

Wow what progress in IshRa hu? ..what shocked me most was that she was ready to be kissed after the dance..that THEY finally let their guards down for the very first time in front of the other...but ike many here I was happy too that they didn't kiss cos they clearly aren't ready yet. IF they had kissed, instead of nursing each other for their cold, they'd be nursing their own confused/mixed feelings and thoughts.

Never liked Shagun in any party but LOVED her presence in this one. Sorry IshRa but you BOTH needed this to take a step forward. I wont say mostly Ishita needed the dance. I'd say both needed almost equally. Ok maybe Ishu needed lil more but Raman SO needed too.

Ishita - she was in the best phase of her marriage with Raman so far, both taking baby steps..but when Shagun walked into that party and her reaction to everything that shagun said, did or by simply coming to the party, was totally different from all the past reactions I've seen from Ishita when shagun was around. ..she had THAT look that Shagun was in her territory...never seen that before...Anywayz after the KKHH storytelling, she was hurt like never before. Her superb ability to show 'I am OK' was nowhere to be seen. First time she couldn't hide her hurt from even Param. First time she couldn't counter attack to hide herself. Her scene with Param, or the way she said 'bye Akka' to Vandu , showed how defeated she was in that moment. She always switches ON her smile n cheerful side for others..in an instant...but that night after the party she was in a place where she can no longer fake a smile.

Raman - He was equally heart broken to hear his wife say in such casual way how insensitive n unromantic he was. He was pissed off at Shagun ofcos but the real hurt was from Ishita's words and from the fact that Shagun hurt his wife with such accuracy. Shagun was right, after she left Raman closed his romantic side..it was proven right, right infront of everyone when ISHRA had no decent romantic moment to share, one both could relate to as a couple. Shagun stabbing Ishita's heart was bigger a concern for Raman than anything else. He knows how Ishita is wired..so he KNEW the effect it can have on her..on their relationship.

It was no pity dance by any means.. IshRa needed that dance almost equally. They NEEDED to tell each other not to give up on THEM...both are so good at going into their shells..the dance was Ramans way of telling Ishita not to give up on him. At the end of the dance Raman succeeded in stopping Ishita from closing up again after the blow from Shagun. He must have been so relieved to achieve that and to have their relationship status/phase restored..GOOD FOR THEM, in the process IshRa took a HUGE step in the right direction. I am sure Raman realized that Ishita is more ready than he thought.

After much resistance from Ishita, she finally gave in to her desires and took the risk. She FINALLY opened up her heart to her husband...when she opened her eyes and saw him gone, everything seemed like a dream or came back crashing..until she saw it wasnt a dream and things were very much in place. I loved that moment.. said so much to each other by just looking at each other with that intensity and exchanging a smile. Gave both of them assurance that the other have not given up.

In the end..after the dance and the 'almost kiss'..he walked away.. she smiled and turned around ...both with a satisfaction of their own..a satisfaction that THEY ARE VERY MUCH ON! ...not over.

Dinning table scene was so good too. Raman lying to his mom was SO Raman..and a good example for Ishita to see how he functions...how he twists things to hide his true self...and how private a person he is. I loved that he didn't want ANYONE to know about it. Coming from the guy who used to use Ishita to show others how happy or 'close' they were in the past, genuinely didn't want anyone to know exactly how CLOSE they are now. When he said that some moments should ONLY be between them, theirs only. ❤️ the look she gave...and the teasing eyelock

OK..I think i've written way more than I wanted..err..newayz I was wondering if anyone noticed this. Divyanka's one bare foot at the beginning of rain dance.
